80% of album completed for Big Bang’s Korean comeback!
When you go to bed at night, how accomplished do you feel? Did you have a long day? Was it stressful? Were you too busy? Well, do you think you are as busy as a Kpop superstar?
Big Bang’s G-Dragon is more busy than most of us could imagine to be, and here is why:
Despite them being very much in our hearts and very much still one of the hottest Kpop acts, Big Bang have not been highly active as a group in the Kpop scene for a ridiculously long two years. Something the group look to rectify. Amid a highly busy YG Entertainment summer, (Se7en’s Digital Bounce and Taeyang’s Solar,) Big Bang have been planning and creating to return to Korea within the year. If everything goes well, October could signify their Korean return. It is noteworthy that September will also signify the comeback of 2NE1.
This is all being done amid the Japanese promotions and the imminent August 25th release of Beautiful Hangover.
YG Entertainment via a phone interview with Money Today Star News said,
“During either October or November, Big Bang will be releasing a new Korean album. We’re thinking of releasing it as a regular album. Up until now, the majority of Big Bang’s tracks were produced by fellow member, G-Dragon. For the upcoming Korean album, G-Dragon will produce all of the tracks. Because of his efforts, the date of the album release has been delayed.”
“G-Dragon has been simultaneously partaking in Big Bang’s Japan activities as well as producing tracks for the album. So far, the album is more than 80% finished.”
So, are you as busy as a Kpop star? Big Bang are simultaneously amid Japanese promotions, they will soon release their next Japanese single, Beautiful Hangover, on August 25th, and they have already completed 80% of a Korean album, oh which G-Gragon has somehow found the time to start producing. Member Taeyang also released today a music video for international single I’ll Be There, and has two solo concerts planned.
Where do they find the time?
So who is excited for the Big Bang comeback? I know I am and when it comes around, SM Entertainment should watch the sales numbers start to tip out of their favor because Big Bang will be returning red hot.
