Australia, get ready for K-MUSIK FESTIVAL 2010!
With the increasingly growing popularity for kpop in Australia, the demand for events to happen to Australia has equally been increasing.
To meet your demand, Australia (Melbourne specifically) will be having our own Korean music concert titled K-MUSIK FESTIVAL 2010!
The event will signify the opening of a new agency called Mikkeli Entertainment which seeks to ‘operate in the growing entertainment world through the production and promotion of high quality entertainment across the Oceanian market.‘
Okay, enough with the background information!
I’m pretty sure you are wondering which kpop acts will be attending the show. Although not on a big scale like SM TOWN 2010, the event still signifies a big step for Australians.
The main act of the night will be a new 4 girl member rock band NIA who has released 3 rock bangin’ singles since their debut last year. Joining NIA will be talented Korean duo Jayesslee who are a YouTube sensation in their own right. Collecting a staggering 11.5 million views on YouTube and almost 83,000 subscribers.

That’s not it! Like I said, this event will signify the opening of Mikkeli Entertainment and so Mikkeli Entertainment will be having a segment called Battle of the Soul to look for a band to sign with them!
If you have a band, you can read here for further details on how you can get signed!
Here are the details for the event:
Date: 9 October 2010
Time: 5:30 pm
Venue: Melbourne City Conference Centre – 333 Swanston Street, CBD
Tickets are only $25 each and are available for purchase through Mikkeli Entertainment. Check out the Facebook Event page to find more details.
Make sure you come down and support the event so we can get more kpop events to come down to Australia! See you there!
UPDATE: I forgot to mention, there will be also various other bands competition for a prize of $1,000 on the night.
