Aussie school ‘Brings It On’ with K-Pop!

Last weekend in Brisbane (Australia), Bring It On held the sensational dance competition for schools all around Queensland. In particular, one school has used K-Pop in their song mix to perform at the competition: Queensland Academy (QASMT). You may not have heard of Brisbane or Queensland, but that just shows how much K-Pop has spread around the world.

Starting off casually and cool, they soon transform into dancing machines when HyunA’s Change (1:02) comes blasting through. After that they go into Black Eyed PeasImma Bee, though at 2:42 you can hear G-Dragon’s voice from a snippet of Big Bang and 2NE1’s collaboration for Lollipop.

So what do you guys think of this school? I’d say that they rocked it as this was their very first year of entering this intense competition.

I would like to also point out that these guys attend the Queensland Academy, not just any ordinary school. Their school has been labelled as the ‘nerd school’ due to their academically high achievements as well as being a part of the rigorous International Baccalaureate program. The full name for the school is ‘Queensland Academy for Science, Mathematics and Technology’ and is abbreviated to ‘QASMT’ just simply because it’s too long. These guys practice hard core on top of exams and assessment due every single week, so you got to give props to them.

Thing is, they didn’t get through to the grand final which is disappointing. HOWEVER, they still have a chance to perform on that glorious grand final stage if they get voted into it as the ‘wild card’.

Please help and support these guys into the final stage and show everyone that nerds can dance!

Here is their energetic performance:
