Who are “New Heights”?
New Heights, the multi-cultural rock band based out of Seattle, has been garnering a lot of attention lately due to the band’s recent activities with Korean artist, Brian Joo.
New Heights, comprised of lead vocalist, Travis Graham; guitarist, Chris Kwak; bassist, Tyler Carroll; and drummer, Bobby Walker, debuted with their self-titled album in February 2008. The group has released two other studio albums, Worlds in 2008 and Starting Again in 2009.
When their first single Peaches was featured in the short film Love Language by the Jubilee Project, New Heights quickly gained the interest of the public. This interest inspired many other filmmakers to create several variations featuring the track. Love Language accumulated over four million views on YouTube and inspired the group to release their first official music video featuring the song.

In late June, New Heights participated in a collaboration with Korean artists Brian Joo and DJ Yup. Their single, Nightmare, went live via iTunes on August 1. The Nightmare release has received much attention from not only rock fans but K-Pop fans as well, gaining a five-star rating on iTunes. The song combines the powerful vocals of Travis Graham and Brian Joo with an infectious cross genre of melodies. The music video for Nightmare is currently in its final stages of post production and will be released soon.
