Clara C to kick-off Asia Pacific and Australian tour!
Monsoon Productions is bringing LA artist, Clara C (www.claracmusic.com) to Australia, as a part of her Asia Pacific – Australia tour, which includes Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Manila, Melbourne, and Sydney. Her upbeat originals and covers have garneredClara C a lot of recognition on YouTube, and as we speak is getting the attention from the likes of MTV, FOX, Showtime and lifetime. Clara will be the first female YouTube artist to headline an international multi-city tour in this region. Starting on the 25th of November, Clara C will be appearing at the United Nations established International Volunteer’s Day 2011 Rock with Me event to an expected audience of over 3000 Singaporeans. The following week will see the beginning of her official tour, which will end on the 4th of December at The Basement in Sydney.
By popular demand, a 2nd event has been added in Sydney for Clara C. On Monday 5 December, Monsoon Productions and Moochi presents Hangout with Clara C, Under 18s Only at Pymble Ladies College at 4:30pm.
We’re also excited to announce that Clara C’s single Til We Go, from her debut album The Art in my Heart, has been chosen to be the featured track in the upcoming A1 European ad campaign. A1, a highly reputable telecommunications company, will be televising the commercial in October 2011, to an audience of millions.
In addition to her prime time exposure in Europe, Clara C is also an advocate for the TEACH initiative, a role that sees her performing on a regular basis at White House functions. TEACH, a joint initiative between the United States Department of Education and the White House, focuses on the recruitment of new teachers, and aims to foster a more diverse culture amongst those in the profession. Clara C began working with TEACH after she was handpicked by White House Associate Director of Public Engagement, Kal Penn, both for her musical talent and her willingness to be vocal on the issue. Clara is truly passionate about her work with TEACH, and frequently encourages graduates to consider a career in education.
Clara C’s supporting act for the tour, is Australian independent artist Charles J Tan.
