YouTube artiste Clara C’s interview with hellokpop

The long-awaited Clara C has now landed with her first Melbourne concert! With over 200 attendees, Clara C fans eagerly waited outside the doors of the venue. Bustling with excitement, the concert finally started at 6:30pm.

Opening the concert was the talented and humorous Charles J Tan! Beginning with his ukulele, Charles performed with amazing talent on stage. Performing a total of 4 songs, ‘Almost Ending’ stood out as one of the crowd favourites. As mentioned by Charles J Tan, the moral of the song was “don’t give up and we all progress in time and get to where we want to be.” The song itself was very emotional, yet it had a nice rhythmic beat. May I say that Charles J Tan brought the humour and comfort for a great start to the concert!

Finally, Clara C walked out in her simple yet stunning black dress and said, “G’day Melbourne.” This was what we had all been waiting for, and the crowd erupted in cheers.

With a total of 6 songs and an encore, including her popular ‘Camel song’ and a cover of ‘Rocketeer.’ Clara’s passion for music exuded through her vocals and her charisma simply shined, making the concert a joy to watch. Before we all knew it, the show had ended and everyone in the audience was sad to see her leave the stage.

However, for all the special VIPs there was plenty more to come – the meet and greet!

One of the VIPs was quoted as describing the event as, “…one of the best meet and greet sessions in a long time.” With about 100 people lining up and waiting to meet the lovely Clara C, each person was able to not only receive her autograph, but also snap a photo together, as well as getting some quality time with the Youtube star! Each person was able to spend at least 5 minutes with her, and although she had just landed in Melbourne on the same morning and undoubtedly lacked a little sleep, Clara C’s bubbly and friendly personality didn’t show an ounce of tiredness! Fans were even able to present gifts to her, such as ‘Maltesers’, or even had their own guitar personalized with her unique music note signature.

Overall, it was an amazing night and so much fun that time sure flew by at the concert. We all wish Clara C and Charles J tan the best with their future endeavours, and hope to see them back in Australia performing for us really soon!
