‘Rooftop Prince’ Cast Meet For First Script-reading
On February 1, the cast and crew of Rooftop Prince gathered together at the Ilsan Production Center for their first script-reading. This much awaited drama boasts of well-known Korean actors, such as JYJ‘s Park Yoochun, Han Ji Min, Jung Yumi, Lee Tae Sung and Lee Min Ho.
The drama revolves around Yoochun’s character, who is a crown prince from the Chosun era that undertakes a journey 300 years into the future in order to re-unite with his lost princess (Han Ji Min). What follows is a romantic comedy, as the prince tries to adapt to the new world and its customs, while on his quest for the lost princess.
The cast also under went a camera-test dressed in their traditional hangboks, in order to get under the skin of their characters. Following this, they held a meeting with the production director, Shin Yoon Sub, and screenwriter, Lee Hee Myung, as well as their script-reading.
Rooftop Prince will air its first episode in mid-March on SBS, just after the finale of Goo Hye Sun’s ‘Please Take Care of Us, Captain.’
