Psy’s ‘Gangnam Style’ tops Baidu MP3 Chart
In yet another great accomplishment, Psy‘s Gangnam Style is ranked first on China’s Baidu MP3 Chart!
Similar to search engines, Baidu MP3 Search provides algorithm generated links to multimedia files provided by Internet content providers. The search feature was started with its comprehensive list of popular Chinese music, Baidu 500, based on download numbers. Even though the multimedia search feature is mainly used in user searches for Chinese pop music, Psy still managed to rise up and hit #1 on the Baidu MP3 chart!
