Tim Hwang takes the lead in Samsung Galaxy S4 short film

Korea’s Prince of Ballads, Tim Hwang, appears in the latest campaign of Samsung Galaxy S4 with short film titled, Meet A Life Companion, which premiered in Seoul.

The short film features Tim as a cafe owner who communicated with a disappointed Japanese lady customer that stepped into his cafe one late night through Galaxy S4’ S Translator.  The two strangers eventually became friends and might even turn into ‘life companions’.

Meet A Life Companion is currently screened in major theatres and cable television across Korea.

Meanwhile, Tim is the guest DJ for KBS eFM 101.3 ‘K-Popular’ for two weeks.  The highly popular radio programme in English introduces the latest in K-pop to listeners around the world.

JYJ warms the summer for NII

Becoming the regular model for clothing brand NII since 2011, JYJ is back to showcase the NII summer collection 2013.

In the pictorial, the boys look bright and fresh with colorful clothes and funny poses. With Yoochun riding mini car, Junsu holding a beach umbrella, and Jaejoong with summer boy outfit playing with his remote control, the boys represent the summer outfits well.

Meanwhile, the outfits have also been promoted on various online shopping websites in Japan such as Rakuten and Qoo10.

PSY looking to hire a personal chef; are you the one he wants?

With the release of another hit single, Gentleman, from PSY, he is now looking for a personal chef to join him during his tour for a duration of one whole month.

Aside from cooking for PSY, the winner will also receive $40,000 and 5-star hotel accommodation. Transportation and plane tickets will not be a problem because PSY has it covered. He’s even got a limousine waiting for his personal chef!

Psygo Bibigo, the campaign title for Korean food brand Bibigo, has made PSY the new face of the brand. Interested applicants may submit their video entries by uploading them on the official Facebook page of Bibigo Global which began on April 13 and will end on May 12.

The winner will be announced on June 3 and will receive two-weeks training before he or she officially starts the one month cooking period for superstar PSY on July 1.

LINE release TV commercial featuring Super Junior’s Siwon

Super Junior’s Choi Siwon has become a model for mobile messenger application LINE in Asia. He will be endorsing LINE in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Vietnam, and other countries in Asia.

As a start, LINE released a TV commercial featuring Siwon. The ads, which took place in Malaysia, has been uploaded on LINE’s official YouTube account on April 11.

In the video, Siwon is a man who loves to chat with his female friend through LINE. They exchange stickers to express their feelings.

Siwon also shared the ads on his Twitter account on April 13, asking his followers to watch the video.

EXO-K and Juniel are back in school for ‘Sunny10′!

Months after Mnet Wide News aired exclusive behind-the-scenes footage and previews of EXO-K and Juniel’s SUNNY10 CF, the official version of their school-themed endorsement has finally been released!

In the 22-second clip, it shows Juniel outside a classroom with the boys of  EXO-K strolling down the corridor in the background. Juniel, after gulping down a can of Sunny 10, attempts to crush the emptied can with her foot. Her actions are seen by Chanyeol, who then attempts to stop her by launching into a hilarious run that includes him sliding underneath a table. Chanyeol, after stopping Juniel, tells her that ‘a can that is crumpled once, does not become flat again.’  The CF ends with Juniel dreamily holding the salvaged can of Sunny 10 and the EXO-K members downing the beverage.

Fans of both EXO-K and Juniel complimented the humorous nature of the CF. Chanyeol’s antics and Juniel’s cute expressions have also won over the hearts of many who have watched it.

More versions of the CF will be released soon, so watch this space!
