The website for Japanese Kpop fans, Kpop Drama Info, recently revealed the result for top 100 idol group’s members popularity ranking on May 2013. Each person could only vote one idol per day.
From the result, TVXQ’s Changmin topped the poll with total 553,969 votes, while SHINee’s Taemin ranked 2nd with 388,601 votes, and TVXQ’s Yunho ranked three with 387,044 votes.
SHINee and JYJ members joined the top 10, such as SHINee’s Onew at 4th spot, Minho in 8th, Key in 9th, and Jonghyun in 10th. Meanwhile, JYJ’s Jaejoong grabbed the 5th place, while his labelmates Junsu secured the 6th place and Yoochun at the 7th place.
More Kpop idols were on the list too, such as f(x), 2PM, B1A4, INFINITE, EXO, Girls’ Generation, KARA, Super Junior, CNBLUE, and many more.

The trio’s (Sam, Teo and Yun) popularity is growing as they have performed in Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Japan. This time round, they are making it bigger as they become the first group to perform in Tunisia. Their official Twitter account has just tweeted this exciting news with a poster, announcing that LUNAFLY will participate in the “K-Pop World Festival – Tunisia Preliminary” on July 1.

In her recent trip to Los Angeles where she threw the opening pitch for the LA Dodgers and featured in First Look’s photo shoot, Girls’ Generation’s Tiffany sat down with Danny for an interview on MnetAmerica’s, Danny from LA.
During the interview, Tiffany announced that both Girls’ Generation’s and TaeTiSeo’s albums are currently in the works for 2013.
Tiffany stated, “Yeah, definitely more this year. We have another album with the nine and we have another album with the trio as well, and I’m looking forward to both of them.”
She also expressed interest in the possibility of doing solo projects in the future either in acting or as a solo performer but is “waiting for the right timing”. Tiffany also talks about her experiences after starring in South Korea’s adaptation of FAME and shares that she may want to pursue a career in musicals.

SMTOWN has unveiled even more teaser images in preparation for EXO‘s comeback. Two neutral color images were recently released online.
The first image is a collage of three images. The members of EXO stand in formations of ‘E’, ‘X’, and ‘O’ to establish a fun photo of the group name. A second photo displays the members wearing plain white t-shirts while posing at a grungy photoshoot location.

Fangirlasia will be 3 years old this month! For the past three years, it has been organizing an event titled Ongaku Gayo to honor its customers – the K-pop fans. With Ongaku and Gayo means music in Japanese and Korean respectively, the event is really a celebration of music.
This year, a bigger event in collaboration with KFest Manila Management, will be held on May 18 at the Mondragon House. The highlight of the event is the unveiling of the Top 20 Bestselling Merchandise from April 2012 – March 2013. To thank fans for their support, the same items will also be raffled. A dance cover will also be hosted with cash prizes at stake in two categories – Best of Fangirlasia, which features the groups in the Top 20, and Fan Favorites, which features groups that fans love to cover.
A party is not a party without food hence this year just like the previous year, North Park Noodle House will be serving snacks for all attendees. This year’s Ongaku Gayo is also extra special because it will mark the start of the promotions for Alexander Lee Eusebio’s Fan Party in Manila. Pulp Live World will also raffle off tickets to the CNBlue Blue Moon Concert on June 15 at the Araneta Coliseum.
The event will end with awards to the top customers – the fans themselves. Fangirlasia will be awarding the Fanboy, Fangirl and Fan Club of the Year.
