MBLAQ opens application to fan club membership
With MBLAQ‘s official Daum fan cafe header that says “Coming Soon”, fans are now anticipating as a hint that the boys are gearing up for their comeback this year as they have also just announced the schedule for the application of membership in their official fan club, A+ (A plus).
On May 10, J.Tune Camp announced on the official fan cafe of MBLAQ of the opening of the 3rd season of its application in becoming official members of the fan club, which is also open to the international fans of the boy group.
Dubbed this year as 3rd Season A+, separate posts in Korean and in English with picture guides were made for the fans to know the steps in creating a Daum account, joining MBLAQ’s fan cafe, the terms and conditions, the procedures and other information in applying for membership of the official fan club.
The duration of membership and benefits to be received by the 3rd season A+ will start on June 1, 2013, and end on May 31, 2014, which is still subject to change depending on the schedules of MBLAQ for the year-round. The recruitment period for the 3rd Season A+ will start on May 13 and will end on May 22 at 11:59 PM (KST).
Fans who successfully become part of the 3rd Season A+ will enjoy the benefits of having the official membership card and with given priority in seats during MBLAQ’s events in Korea and/or abroad and many more. A special event for this season’s application will also award 20 lucky fans with signed polaroid photos of the members of MBLAQ.

100% is charging for comeback
On May 7, record producer and composer from Joombas Music Group‘s Hyuk Sin and Ross Lara uploaded a photo with the members of 100% inside the recording studio. Lara also tweeted about their previous recording with the seven-member boy band on May 5.
Joombas Music Group confirmed in a tweet that TOP Media has worked with them again for a new project. They have previously worked with 100%’s labelmate Teen Top for Supa Luv.

100% debuted in September 2012 with their single 나쁜놈 (Bad Boy) and had appeared on variety shows together with Teen Top. Before end of May, their fans will have an official fan club name because they have recently opened their contest for naming their fan club and will end on May 13 at 11:59 PM KST.

The Smiths are at home with YG
On May 6, YG Entertainment welcomed Hollywood celebrities Will Smith and Jaden Smith at their headquarters. They just came from Taipei, Taiwan where they held their promotions for their movie After Earth.
The news of the Smiths’ arrival in Korea is not new but updates from fans spread like wildfire all over Twitter and photo-sharing sites about their visit to the YG building, which was later confirmed through photos by CL of 2NE1 and one of YG producers who goes by the name Choice.
The Smiths are scheduled to meet with Jay Park on the red carpet event for the movie who sang a self-written song for After Earth’s official soundtrack as requested personally by Will Smith.
They are also to appear in a collaboration project of General Idea, owned by Korean Bumsuk Choi and MSFTSrep (Misfits Republic) established by Jaden Smith in 2010. The event details can be found in the Seoulcialite website.

2NE1 girls snap photos with Snoop Dogg
On 4 May, hip hop super star Snoop Dogg (aka Snoop Lion) held his first concert at the Olympic Park, Seoul, entitled ‘Unite All Originals Live with Snoop Dogg’. During the concert, 2NE1 also went on stage and performed together with Snoop Dogg.
At the backstage, 2NE1 grabbed the rare meeting by taking individual photos with Snoop Dogg, and shared on their respective Instagram and Twitter accounts.

What did HISTORY members do before performing on ‘Show Champion’?
After releasing the full MV for its song debut Dreamer, HISTORY made a debut on MBC’s Show Champion. In the waiting room, they shared individual pictures which were taken by each other.
Yijung took a picture of Jaeho, commenting, “(Jaeho) spotted the camera! He is trying to act pretty!” Based on the caption, it seemed like Jaeho noticed the camera and tried to act good by playing with his phone and pretending there was no camera near him.
Next, Jaeho snapped a picture of Dokyun by commenting, “Dokyun-hyung didn’t do ‘kimchi’ but did ‘goldfish’ instead and gave a real goldfish expression. Cutie virus `~´” In the picture, Dokyun gave a funny expression with bugged eyes and dropping his jaws.
The third picture, it was Dokyun’s turn to take a picture of Sihyung. In the picture, Sihyung posed a sleepy face and did a V sign. The caption was, “Sleepy Sihyung (=.,=) zzZ”
In the fourth picture, Sihyung took a picture of Kyungil with the caption, “Sleek side profile °_°b”. In the picture, Kyungil seemed busy with his phone.
Of the last photo, Kyungil took a picture of Yijung. In the picture, Yijung did a funny expression and Kyungil found it cute by commenting, “A photo that shows 2jung2’s bright smile and cute side at once~ ˙ㅠ˙”
