TVXQ, JYJ and SHINee are most favored ‘Top 100 K-pop Idol Group’s Members’
The website for Japanese Kpop fans, Kpop Drama Info, recently revealed the result for top 100 idol group’s members popularity ranking on May 2013. Each person could only vote one idol per day.
From the result, TVXQ’s Changmin topped the poll with total 553,969 votes, while SHINee’s Taemin ranked 2nd with 388,601 votes, and TVXQ’s Yunho ranked three with 387,044 votes.
SHINee and JYJ members joined the top 10, such as SHINee’s Onew at 4th spot, Minho in 8th, Key in 9th, and Jonghyun in 10th. Meanwhile, JYJ’s Jaejoong grabbed the 5th place, while his labelmates Junsu secured the 6th place and Yoochun at the 7th place.
More Kpop idols were on the list too, such as f(x), 2PM, B1A4, INFINITE, EXO, Girls’ Generation, KARA, Super Junior, CNBLUE, and many more.

Stickers selling well on Line app
Jaejoong posted a photo of himself on Line with stickers on March 1.
Line, a smartphone application developed by Naver operator NHN, reported its 2013 first quarter earnings, revealing that its revenue was $58.9 million. 80% came from Japan, where the application was first introduced. Half of the revenue came from in-app purchasing, and paid stickers contributed another 30%.
Recently, Line revealed that it passed 150 million registered users and planned to extend its services to Europe and South America. In Spain, for example, they gained more than 10 million users after the rollout of the app for iOS and Android, backed by effective TV ads.
Line is a messaging application that includes games, multiple-user chats and special features, like kawaii emoticons called ‘stickers’ that can be attached not only to messages but to photos as well.
K-pop celebrities also use Line to communicate with their international fan base and to share exclusive in-app content. JYJ, for example, shares behind-the-scenes photos and audio/video messages and hosts random chats with members, while Big Bang leader G-Dragon released his MichiGO track exclusively through Line.
Other celebrities using the service include FT Island, Super Junior, 2AM, 2PM, the Wonder Girls, Miss A, Kara, Girls’ Generation, ZE:A and Lee Min-ho.

2PM’s MV for ‘A.D.T.O.Y’ is out!
After releasing Comeback When You Hear This Song MV for its new album GROWN, 2PM released the second MV for its second title track, Ha.Ni.Bun (A.D.T.O.Y) or All Day I Think of You on May 11 through JYP Entertainment‘s official YouTube channel.
In the video, the six grown up men appear in a monochrome video. They show off how well they treat their women like real men. Not only showing their sexiness, the members of 2PM also show their dancing skills on chairs, leaving Hottest in excitement.

Wedding pictorial featuring Taecyeon and Lee Yeon Hee
Singer of boy band 2PM, Ok Taecyeon is making his debut on the big screen along with actress Lee Yeon Hee in a romantic comedy movie called The Night before the Wedding.
Their wedding pictorial for the movie has been released and Taecyeon is seen wearing a white shirt with black rolled up slacks while Lee Yeon Hee wears a beautiful lace wedding dress with a long train. The photo was taken in a casual and cosy environment, with natural poses along with warm and affectionate smile portraying a sweet and lovable couple.
Taecyeon will be taking the role of Won Chul, a capable chef and fiancé to So Mi, a nail artist, played by Lee Yeon Hee. The movie will be directed by Hong Ji Young, who made his debut in 2009 with Kitchen. Fans can also anticipate many other famous actors and actresses such as Ko Jun Hee from the TV drama King of the Ambition and Kim Kang Woo from recent the TV drama Lover of Haeundae.
Lee Hyori certifies Perfect All Kill with ‘Miss Korea’
A three years hiatus does not seem to have hurt the popularity of Lee Hyori as the solo singer made her long awaited comeback with the pre-release of Miss Korea ahead of the album release on the 21st. She has just proven herself with a prestigious perfect all kill, which perfectly means she is ranked first on every daily and real time music charts of Korea currently, as well as leading on Instiz ongoing weekly points.
Lee Hyori is also currently topping Melon‘s roof which further confirms the explosive answer for Miss Korea. She has accomplished this impressive result despite the comeback of 2PM. However, the boy band album is hardly seemed to be any digital threat to Lee Hyori as it fails to top on any chart, and is currently dropping for its 2nd position behind Miss Korea. 2PM has one more title track to unveil on 11 May.
