CUBE Entertainment to hold United Cube concerts in 2013
CUBE Entertainment will be opening a family concert 2013 UNITED CUBE Concert early next year in Korea, China, and Japan. The artists of the agency, BEAST, 4Minute, G.NA, BtoB, Roh Jihoon will be performing and showing their special stages during the concert.
In August of 2011, they started with the UNITED CUBE Concert-Fantasy Land in Seoul, then went to Japan with about 10,000 fans. Following the December of that year, theywent to the UK as well as Brazil, and both were all very successful.
It will be their first time to have a United Cube Concert in China this coming January 26 2013, with Seoul right after on February 2 and Japan on February 21. You can check out through their official YouTube channel as they greet their fans and give more information about the upcoming concerts.

Kim Hee Sun poses for Cosmopolitan Korea
Actress Kim Hee Sun will grace the pages for the recent issue of Cosmopolitan Korea.
She renders professional and captivating poses to exhibit a surrealistic concept and is seen wearing a dress with a layered tulle shirt and a short backless dress.
In addition, Cosmopolitan revealed that Kim received the title of Icon of the Year at the 2012 Cosmo Beauty Award hosted in Shanghai, China.

EXO to make a comeback with full-length album
SM Entertainment has plans of expansion in mind by increasing the agency’s shares and to find interested buyers in China and Japan. Known as one of South Korea’s renowned entertainment agencies, SM has the idea of entering the Chinese market in mind and will continue to expand into foreign markets.
Market researcher Kim Chang Won had the task of calculating SM’s growing revenue and recently revealed upcoming events. Kim announced that SM Entertainment will continue to stay active in terms of musical releases and is currently preparing to release a full-length studio album for its rookie group, EXO. The album is expected to be released sometime in November.
SM Entertainment may have a way into the Chinese market as the agency’s sub-unit group EXO-M primarily holds activities and promotions in China.

TimeZ releases music video teaser
The collaborative CJ E&M and SuperJet Entertainment group, TimeZ, has officially released a group teaser video for its debut.
The two co-production agencies previously released individual teaser videos for each member in China and Korea before officially releasing the final group video. TimeZ is a multi-cultural six member boy band consisting of four Chinese members and two Korean members. The band will officially make its debut on October 18.

Han Geng named as Best Asia Act for ”2012 MTV EMA”
It was a tough competition across all of Southeast Asia, China, Taiwan, Japan and Korea.
MTV today announced that Han Geng has been named Best Asia Act of the “2012 MTV EMA,” having received the most votes from fans among other contenders namely Super Junior, EXILE, Jolin Tsai and Yuna. Hosted by supermodel, entrepreneur and hometown girl Heidi Klum, the 19th annual awards show will broadcast live from Frankfurt’s historic Festhalle on Sunday, 11th November at 9PM CET* on MTV channels around the world.
Han Geng will now vie against Gotye, fellow winner of the Best Australia/New Zealand Act, for the chance to represent the region in the Worldwide Act category, which celebrates the range and breadth of all the music that MTV has to offer by showcasing incredible artists from all parts of the world. From now until October 30th, fans will be able to vote for their favorite regional act on www.mtvema.com.
The representative for Asia Pacific will be announced on Tuesday, October 30th, along with the other regional winners from Europe, Latin America, North America, and Africa/India/Middle East. These five regional nominees will then battle for votes for the “Worldwide Act” distinction, and the winner will be named at the show in Frankfurt.
HAN GENG
Known as “the most influential male celebrity in China”, Chinese singer and actor Han Geng is undoubtedly dominating the Mando-pop scene in Southeast Asia. In 2005, he debuted in South Korea as the only Chinese member of Super Junior and the leader of its Chinese squad SJ-M but eventually left to focus on a solo career. His 1st solo album sold over a million copies and tickets to his 1st concert sold out in a record-breaking 37mins. To date, he has received over 20 awards for his solo works. Han Geng is also well known for his powerful dance skills. Han Geng’s sophomore album Hope in the Darkness was released in July this year.
Taylor Swift, Muse, No Doubt, Carly Rae Jepsen, fun. and Rita Ora are confirmed to perform at the “2012 MTV EMA.” MTV will announce additional EMA performers and presenters at a later date. As previously announced, Rihanna and Taylor Swift top the list of the “2012 MTV EMA” nominees with six and five nods, respectively, with Justin Bieber and Katy Perry following closely behind with four nominations each. Lady Gaga, Lana Del Rey, Nicki Minaj, Carly Rae Jepsen, fun., Jay Z and Kanye West each received three EMA nominations, while Green Day, Gotye, Pitbull, Flo Rida, Rita Ora, Muse, Arctic Monkeys, Jack White and One Direction are up for two awards.

The 18th annual show saw a double-digit increase year over year with the coveted P12-34 demographic and enjoyed a +29% increase in unique visitors to the EMA website on show day. The “2011 MTV EMA” also drew an impressive total of 158 million votes worldwide, a huge growth of +236% year over year.
