Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon loses her job?

Girls’ Generation fans, Taeyeon has announced that she lost her job!

No need to panic, as it seems like the idol was just referring to the conclusion of her hosting job as one of MBC‘s Music Core MCs. As announced earlier,Taeyeon, Tiffany and Seohyun will be leaving their regular MC positions on April 13, due to their busy schedules.

On April 14, Taeyeon posted a photo via her Instagram account. It showed her staring into somewhere, seemingly deep in thought while turning her back from the camera. Check out the photo below:

A caption was posted alongside the photo, which said: “I lost my job….lol…Ha.” Fans sympathized with Taeyeon by posting comments such as:

“I will miss my dorkey mc i will miss you girls.”

“Noona gonna miss you on MuCore T~T.”

“jobless TTS, never say goodbye～.”

SBS Popular Music gets a new face

Lee Hyunwoo has signed on to MC SBS’s Popular Music show starting in December.

The To The Beautiful You actor will begin emceeing the music show on its 701st episode on December 16. Lee Hyunwoo will work with Gwanghee of ZEA where the two stars will transform into GD&TOP for the opening performance of the show.

The actor said he was excited to be chosen.

“It’s a program that I normally love watching. I will prepare hard for Popular Music to be the best MC that I can be. I will try hard.” He said.

Lee started his MC career with JTBC’s music program Music on Top and has been acknowledge for his lively and fun MC skills.

The star is currently working on a movie piece with actors Kim Soohyun and Park Kiwoong which will be released in 2013.

SISTAR’s Dasom to be MC for the Golden Disk Awards

SISTAR’s Dasom will be the MC for the Golden Disk Awards. 

According to the representative, Dasom will be the MC for the Golden Disk Awards in Malaysia in January of 2013, Korean and overseas fans are giving much interest to this. The representative says that Dasom will do well at the awards ceremony as she has been a MC previously on MBC Music Core. However, the male MC who is to be standing alongside with Dasom has not been confirmed yet.

Currently, Dasom is active with KBS2TV‘s daily sitcom Shut Up Family and is improving her acting skills.
