MBLAQ opens application to fan club membership

With MBLAQ‘s official Daum fan cafe header that says “Coming Soon”, fans are now anticipating as a hint that the boys are gearing up for their comeback this year as they have also just announced the schedule for the application of membership in their official fan club, A+ (A plus).

On May 10, J.Tune Camp announced on the official fan cafe of MBLAQ of the opening of the 3rd season of its application in becoming official members of the fan club, which is also open to the international fans of the boy group.

Dubbed this year as 3rd Season A+, separate posts in Korean and in English with picture guides were made for the fans to know the steps in creating a Daum account, joining MBLAQ’s fan cafe, the terms and conditions, the procedures and other information in applying for membership of the official fan club.

The duration of membership and benefits to be received by the 3rd season A+ will start on June 1, 2013, and end on May 31, 2014, which is still subject to change depending on the schedules of MBLAQ for the year-round.  The recruitment period for the 3rd Season A+ will start on May 13 and will end on May 22 at 11:59 PM (KST).

Fans who successfully become part of the 3rd Season A+ will enjoy the benefits of having the official membership card and with given priority in seats during MBLAQ’s events in Korea and/or abroad and many more. A special event for this season’s application will also award 20 lucky fans with signed polaroid photos of the members of MBLAQ.

tvN’s variety program ‘The Romantic & Idol’ cast idols; will they fall in love with each other?

Earlier this year, tvN released a love variety program, The Romantic, which was filmed in Croatia. The program focuses on individuals who will try to find the love of their lives.

On November 11, the drama-variety program will be back. This time, it will feature Korean idols dreaming of a youthful romance. 2PM‘s JunK, MBLAQ‘s Mir, ZE:A‘s Hyungsik, JJ Project‘s JB, 4Minute‘s Nam JiHyun, Rainbow‘s Oh Seungah, AOA‘s Hyejung and Fiestar‘s Jei will be heading to the beautiful island of Jeju to bring out the hidden love story with The Romantic & Idol.

Because of the idols’ young age and possible restrictions in being in a relationship when they debuted, people are curious as to whether they can portray the love story and if they are going to take it seriously. Lee Myung Han, previous PD of 1 Night 2 Days and Qualifications of Men, shares that he believes the idols will be able to portray the inner meaning that he wants to be shown. According to the people behind the show, there were also members who might have had feelings for each other as they were not reached by their managers and coordinators for 4 days and 3 nights. Surprisingly, they were able to show their inner selves better than what they expected.

When asked on which member was the most honest, Myung Han shared that it was Mir of MBLAQ. He adds, ”Mir is a person who has a lot of emotions. He honestly and boldly presented his inner feelings. He’s very clear on whether he likes or he does not like. The most interesting was JJ Project’s JB. He is very attractive as a guy. Even though he is young, his actions were very manly. It was kind of the opposite from what I expected so I was surprised.”

Currently, the show has filmed 2 sets and one member has already said, “I was really about to fall in love”.

Seungho and Mir volunteer in Vietnam

Recently, MBLAQ members Seungho and Mir spent their free time doing volunteer work through KOICA, Korea’s grant aid program for developing countries.

The two members who seemed to be enjoying volunteering in Vietnam shared their pictures to their fans through their official Twitter accounts. Se7en replied to Seungho by saying, “Cheer up as you do good deeds. Hang out with hyung next time!”.

MBLAQ’s Cheondung releases audio for ‘Don’t Go’

Following the release of MBLAQ‘s G.O and Mir‘s, Wild, is Cheondung‘s solo single, Don’t Go, for the mini album - MBLAQ ‘THE BLAQ%’ TOUR PART 2. The track and lyrics in its entirety were self-written by Cheondung.

A representative of J.Tune Camp shared, “The reveal of the members’ self-composed songs for their Asia tour was made possible through their will and talent. You can see it yourself at the tour.”

Cheondung will make his first solo performance at THE BLAQ% TOUR in Seoul on July 21 and 22.

MBLAQ’s G.O and Mir release audio for Wild

Subsequent to the release of MBLAQ‘s G.O and Mir sub unit teaser image, the anticipated duo has unveiled the audio for Wild on various music portals. The groovy hip-hop track has garnered the interest of a growing number of netizens.
