[EXCLUSIVE] BIGBANG’s Alive Tour Arrives in London

Performing to a sea of blue and yellow, BIGBANG successfully held their ALIVE Galaxy Tour 2012 in London to a combined audience of 24 000 strong VIPs in Wembley Arena on December 14 and 15. hellokpop was there to attend the group’s first ever European concert and got some amazing shots of the boys as they performed for nearly three hours to screaming fans.

The two performances made BIGBANG’s concert the largest to take place in the UK to date, and G-Dragon, T.O.P, Daesung, Taeyang and Seungri did not disappoint. Despite both  a nosebleed and one improvised solo by Taeyang, as well as near fires from confetti landing on stage lights, the concert was more than just about seeing your favourite idol group perform live. It was about seeing a group that for many, started it all.

Formed in 2006, the group has gone through its share of ups and downs, and the concert reflected it all. Performing classics such as Haru Haru and Last Farewell, as well as newer singles, such as Fantastic Baby and Monster, the concert showed how the group has matured and evolved, both musically and personally, throughout the six years of being in the music business. Of course, BIGBANG has not only seen success as a quintet, but also through its members’ various solo promotions. The night saw a mixture of performances from the duo GD & TOP, as well as solo stages by Taeyang, Seungri and Daesung.

Overall, the mix of fans from all over the world in the audience showed BIGBANG’s prowess in the Kpop world, and the night proved one thing. That BIGBANG is very much ALIVE.

BIGBANG’s T.O.P and Seungri spotted grocery shopping

An online community bulletin recently uploaded a photo of BIGBANG members T.O.P and Seungri browsing through Japanese grocery stores.

In the first photo, T.O.P is seen holding a basket while casually shopping around. Fans also appear in the photo with their camera phones angled towards the idol in hopes to take a good shot.  In another more recent image, Seungri faces the camera while he is walking in another aisle. Despite their overwhelming popularity, the two artists look quite friendly and are not bothered by the short photo sessions at all.

Furthermore, BIGBANG will hold its finale concert for its world tour, BIGBANG Alive Galaxy Tour: The Final, at the Gymnastics Stadium from the 25th to 27th of January.
