PSY to release another MV for ‘Gangnam Style’
Rising ‘Gangnam hero’, PSY, is planning to release an additional MV for his worldwide phenomenal song, Gangnam Style.
His representative revealed this exciting information through a phone conversation with OSEN on August 8, saying, “There is an additional version to PSY’s MV, in which we have replaced ‘Oppa’s Gangnam Style’ to ‘Oppa is just my style’.”
The representative continued to reveal that, “4minute‘s HyunA is still in this MV, but Yoo Jae Suk and Noh Hong Chul will not be. We are planning to release the other MV in mid-August. However, due to the explosive popularity, we are discussing releasing it at a much later date.”
In other separate news, the agency received a call from Justin Bieber’s agency today. The likelihood of scheduling a meeting between the two parties is now on the table. The intent regarding the call is still unknown at the moment, but the call clearly demonstrates how widespread the popularity of Psy’s song now is.
Gangnam Style achieved an astonishing all-kill on online music charts immediately after being released on July 15. Soon after, the ‘horse dance’ and the various hilarious expressions and scenes in the MV left deep impressions to YouTube viewers. The MV quickly became one of the world’s hottest topics of conversatin. The craze continued when the MV’s popularity was reported on various non-entertainment news outlets, such as CNN, LA Times, The Wall Street Journal, Channel NewsAsia and many more.

Cast of Infinite Challenge to hold concert to thank fans for support
The cast of MBC‘s variety program ‘Infinite Challenge’ will be holding a concert this year to thank fans for their unwavering and overwhelming support.
On the 12th of July, LeeSsang Company announced that the cast of ‘Infinite Challenge’ will be holding the concert ‘SUPER7’ on the 24th and 25th of November at the Seoul Olympics’ Gymnastics Stadium. The seven members-Yoo Jae Suk, Park Myung Soo, Jung Jun Ha, Jung Hyung Don, Gil, HaHa and No Hong Chul will grace the concert with their presence. Presently, the labour strike at MBC has gone into its fifth month and news of the ‘Infinite Challenge’ concert is expected to help ease the pent-up frustrations of fans.
A representative of the official sponsor, LeeSsang Company, stated that “the cast of ‘Infinite Challenge’ meet each other almost every day and for a long period of time, they have been worrying and waiting. During this period of time, fans have given much love to ‘Infinite Challenge’ and have tried to save [the show]. Desiring to repay their [loyal] fans, the members have been unable to sit still”.
Also the representative revealed that “various meetings to plan for the items have been conducted, all painstakingly done in order to plan this large-scale concert”. He also added “the seven members have a special love for and attachment to ‘Infinity Challenge’ more than anybody else”.
According to MBC, plans to check whether the labour strike would come to a close will be held on the 14th of July. Predictions of Infinite Challenge’s long hiatus finally drawing to a close in the near future have been emerging in recent times, albeit carefully.

National MC Yoo Jae Suk has received a new shoe from comedian Jung Jun Ha!
On the afternoon of the 12th of July, entertainer Haha posted two photos onto Twitter with the caption,
“Jun Ha Hyung gave Jaesuk his dearly loved and latest model of shoes! Even Air Jordan [NIKE] is crying, AirNex [Air Jordan and Kleenex, the brand of the tissue box used].”
Yoo Jae Suk’s attire was not entirely out of the ordinary-in the first picture, he is wearing a cap, blue shirt and simple-looking pants-but the eye-catching second picture clearly shows the tissue box he wore in place of a shoe! With a pose brimming full of confidence, Yoo Jae Suk’s intense gaze into the camera made viewers burst out in laughter.
Netizens following Haha commented on the post, saying:

Yoo Jae Suk and Haha are a part of the cast of MBC‘s Infinite Challenge, which has been broadcasting its reruns due to its filming hiatus this year.

Lee Juk and Yoo Jae Suk release MV teaser featuring Park Myungsoo parodying BIG BANG
Known in Korea as The Nation’s MC, Yoo Jae Suk teamed up again with singer Lee Juk for a new song Punk in the Corner. It’s set to be released on the 6th of July. The duo, more commonly known as Droopy Snail, released an MV teaser of the song featuring Park Myungsoo. Myungsoo can be seen sporting G-Dragon‘s famous mushroom hair and Taeyang’s Mickey mouse hairstyle in BIG BANG‘s Monster music video. The new song is expected to be just as big of a hit as their previous tracks Apgujeong Party Kid and As One Says.
