Congratulations to Baek Ye Rin.

Korean singer-songwriter Baek Ye Rin has lent her voice to the original soundtrack (OST) of tvN’s newest drama ‘Chicago Typewriter’.

The 15& member released Blooming Memories on April 15. This is the first time the singer contributed to a drama OST since her debut in 2012.

“Her unique and emotional tone will go well with the drama’s sophisticated love story,” said CJ E&M.

‘Chicago Typewriter’ revolves around writers who lived in the 1930s, when Korea was under the Japanese occupation, and their reincarnations at present time.

The drama stars Yoo Ah In, Im Soo Jung, and Go Kyung Pyo. It also marked Im’s return to television after 13 years.  The actress’ last drama was the 2004 drama hit, I’m Sorry, I Love You opposite So Ji Sub.

‘Chicago Typewriter’ premiered on April 7. However, the drama is currently suffering a poor viewership rate of below three percent.

Baek, on the hand, recently contributed to R&B singer-songwriter’s Dean‘s newly released song Come Over.
