[CONCERT RECAP] TREASURE Greets SG TEUMEs With Explosive Stages Via Debut Concert “HELLO” Tour In Singapore

HELLO, HELLO TREASURE! Where’ve you been all SG TEUMEs’ life? 

YG Entertainment’s youngest boy group, TREASURE, finally made their way to the sunny island to say HELLO to SG TEUMEs on April 8 (Saturday) at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. The Singapore stop marks the group’s first time performing in the country and is part of their debut world tour.

Hyunsuk, Jihoon, Yoshi, Junkyu, Jaehyuk, Asahi, Doyoung, Haruto, Jeongwoo and Junghwan performed to their fullest where they showcased their impressive talents and captivated the crowd with their undeniable charms. Read on to relive moments from TREASURE’s HELLO concert in Singapore last Saturday. 

Clad in suave sets of black neon green outfits, TREASURE kickstarted the concert on a high note with some of their top hits such as “JIKJIN”, “BOY” and “I LOVE YOU”. The boys’ impressive performances were accompanied by a live band and their energy was definitely matched by SG TEUMEs’ energy where deafening screams could be heard and enthusiastic waves of TREASURE’s official lightstick could be seen, forming a beautiful blue sea.

The members took the chance to have a quick outfit change whilst the VCR was playing and resumed their impressive stages with “GOING CRAZY”, “COME TO ME” and “B.L.T (BLING LIKE THIS”. When it came to the opening ment session, TREASURE introduced themselves one by one, impressing the crowd with their excellent English, and shared their excitement about finally being able to perform in Singapore for the very first time. 

After many exciting stages which hyped the crowd up, the boys switched the mood down a little and serenaded the crowd with their amazing vocals, effortlessly belting out high notes with “SLOWMOTION” and “It’s Okay”. As the members went backstage for another outfit change, there was a mini fans’ pick-up session where SG TEUMEs’ showed their deep love for TREASURE through all the various banners and slogans that they were sporting. 

Changed into a more casual outfit, the members returned on stage to perform more of their hits such as “HELLO”, “CLAP!” and even the TikTok viral tune “DARARI”. The overall production of the show was impressive with a big extended stage and extravagant laser beams and confetti sprays. During the “ORANGE” stage, the members were even lifted up on a scissor lift, allowing them to take a clearer look at the fans sitting on the second level of the stadium. 

During the second ment session, TREASURE shared that it was a pity that they were unable to spend more time in Singapore. If they were given the time, the members shared a collective consensus that they would like to eat more chili crab and visit iconic sites such as the Merlion Park and Universal Studios Singapore. 

Fans were also treated with sub-unit performances where Asahi and Haruto paired up for “THANK YOU” and Hyunsuk, Yoshi and Haruto teamed up for a hiphop stage “VolKno”. After which, all of the members returned to the stage with a playful stage of “MMM” and covered iconic songs by their seniors who are under the same label such as “RHYTHM TA” by iKon and “BANG BANG BANG” by Big Bang.  

The next segment was a crowd favorite where the boys tried out some pick-up lines in Singlish, effortlessly flirting with SG TEUMEs. Doyoung made a funny pun on a neighborhood in the East of Singapore with his pick-up line “Do you live in the East? Because when I see you, my heart goes Bedok Bedok!” On top of that, Junkyu also mentioned that he wants to dabao (term for takeaway in Singlish) all treasure makers home that night, igniting many excited screams from the fans. 

After the short but fun segment, the group continued to captivate the sea of fans with their performance of “U” and it soon reached the last song “MY TREASURE”. 

What was supposed to be a nearly three-hour-long concert passed by in a blink of an eye. During the ending ment session, a special birthday surprise had been prepared for Haruto whose birthday was on April 5. The members who had been speaking in English previously throughout the whole concert switched to Korean in an attempt to express their gratitude more accurately to SG TEUMEs for being such an amazing crowd. 

The concert was a heartwarming showcase of TREASUREs’ dedication to their craft and their love for their fans. The energy of the stadium remained high as the energetic group went on with two rounds of encore, performing “EVERYDAY” and “BFF (Best Friend Ever)”, as well as reperforming remixed versions of their various hit tracks. 

It was a memorable night spent with TREASURE and the memories forged would undeniably be something that SG TEUMEs will treasure deeply in their hearts.
