One week, three nations, and a celebration of the biggest and brightest music acts! That’s what 2018 MAMA WEEK is going to be about!

Asia’s biggest music awards festival, which unites Asian nations into one, is yet again going to take three nations by storm in a series of scintillating stages that will showcase the region’s music.

On October 18, 2018 Mnet Asian Music Awards’ official website was unveiled to kick off the MAMA WEEK celebration. It launched this year’s theme, official logo, official titles, and initial details for the three stops that will host the week-long festivity.

For its 10th year edition, 2018 MAMA takes the theme “ICARUS”, derived from the story of a Greek mythology character, to represent “invincible challenge”, “boundless passion”, and “everlasting dream”, epitomizing the goal of this year’s celebration.

Lauded for its extravagant annual stage design, this year will be no different as the event aims to assimilate artists’ challenges, fans’ enthusiasm, and the dream of being one in celebration of music. An innovative artists’ platform will be presented in Asia’s biggest music awards ceremony.

Blending the symbols “wings”, “heart”, and “universe” for its official logo design, 2018 MAMA is keen to activate the selected keywords of “challenge”, “passion” and “universe”.
