A fusion of Filipino-Korean artistry and talent shows awaits your presence at the 26th Philippines-Korea Cultural Exchange Festival on September 9 at Aliw Theater.
The 26th Philippines-Korea Cultural Exchange Festival follows the theme “길 (Road), We Go Together” for its 2017 edition. The annual joint Filipino-Korean culture fair is set to celebrate the friendship between Philippines and South Korea through a day of joyous activities and cultural events. A mixture of talent competition, road shows and booth activities are specially prepared for attendees. Since the admission is free, you can also bring along your friends and family.
Aiming to feature almost 70 years of historic unwavering cooperation, the 26th Philippines-Korea Cultural Exchange Festival looks back on the two countries collaborative efforts in various areas, such as trade, political security issues, socio-cultural dealings and the growing popularity of Korean Wave.

Pick the brightest bulb on the talent search stage
Hosted by Sam Oh and Richard Hwan, the Annual Talent Competition highlight a challenge for contestants to showcase their singing and dancing skills with a twist. Filipinos will do their renditions in Korean, as the latter will do theirs in Filipino.
Eat, Shop and Love while checking out a miniature cultural district set up
Pretend that you are transported to Myeongdong as a wide array of kiosks will house Korean sponsored products, street food section and K-pop display for your own pleasure.
Amaze yourself in Stunning Stage Performances
The 26th Philippines-Korea Cultural Exchange Festival will bring picturesque stage exhibits. The imaginative Busan National Gugak Team are intent to put the audience in a beautiful trance with their traditional Korean performing arts spectacle, while renowned Ballet Manila Storytellers on Toes will create memorable movements to represent the creative dance of the Philippines.
Feel the Lively Beat of Percussions
A nanta exhibition by Serotonin lets you explore the combined skills of traditional Korean percussion instrument players as they induce invigorating music which will make you happy.
Unleash your fan spirit to an exciting K-pop Stage
Representing the Hallyu wave, idol group Offroad is up to give a dose of K-pop addiction with their exciting stage. The 5-member group has been actively visiting the country with impressive shows for their Filipino fans.
