#AAA2023inPH SPOTLIGHT: All The K-Drama Artists To Meet At “Asia Artist Awards 2023”

Presented by, PULP Live World, Starnews, and TONZ Entertainment for its 8th year, AAA shall be held in the hottest country in Southeast Asia and has the most significant fan base in Korean culture, the Philippines.

Considered Asia’s Oscars and Grammy Awards, AAA is a prestigious, one-of-its-kind South Korean award-giving body that recognizes artists from music, television amd film who made an outstanding impact on the Asian Regions.

Check out the Korean actors and actresses that will grace AAA 2023 on December 14.

Kim Seon Ho, Ahn Hyo Seop, Kim Sejeong and Moon Ga Young are the first batch of confirmed attendees for AAA.

Kim Seon Ho, deemed “male god” who showed off his extraordinary singing skills and eloquence, won the DCM Popularity Award and Idol Plus Popularity Award in the male actor category at 2022 AAA, as well as the Asia Celebrity Award and Best Choice Award. He captured the attention of the viewers with his stable performances in various works such as the dramas Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha, Start- Up and Catch the Ghost.

Ahn Hyo Seop, won the Best Actor Award at 2020 AAA praised as a versatile artist who can also sing and dance and has established himself as a trustworthy actor through his outstanding performances in Dr. Romantic 2 and 3, Busines Proposal and his recently concluded drama, A Time Called You.

Singer-actress, Kim Sejeong, exudes a strong presence as an all-rounder entertainer who can do anything from singing to acting entertainment. Sejeong left a lasting impression on viewers by showing off her outstanding acting skills in the Uncanny Counter 1 and 2, Today’s Webtoon and Business Proposal. She recently resumed her singing career and released her full-length album Moon. She also embarked on her first solo concert tour this year.

Moon Ga Young who won the Emotional Actress category at the 2021 AAA will also walk the red carpet for the first time in two years. She played the role of Ahn Soo-young in the JTBC drama, The Interest of Love and proved her high level of character synergy with her passionate performance.

Talented and versatile actors, Lee Dong Hwi, Lee Joon Hyuk, Cha Joo Young and Lee Eun Saem are also confirmed to decorate AAA 2023.

Lee Dong Hwi has continuously captured the attention of viewers by showing his presence with his unique acting. His notable works include Big Bet and Reply 1988.

Lee Joon Hyuk, who captivates women’s hearts with his charisma won the 2020 AAA Best Acting Award. In the recent movie, Crime City 3, he played the mastermind behind a new drug crime case and perfectly played the villain role. He has so far starred in the movies, Baseball Girl, Along with the Gods, and the dramas 365: Repeat the Year and 2 seasons of Stranger.

Cha Joo Young, who is having a busier year than ever, She received favorable reviews for her realistic and vivid portrayal of the character Hye-Jeong, full of desire and entitlement, in the Netflix series The Glory.

Lee Eun Saem, who showed outstanding this year also confirmed her attendance at the AAA 2023. She exudes diverse charms and solid acting skills. She has won the public’s attention with her performances in works such as Cheer Up, All of us are Dead and The Red Sleeve.

Starnews rolled out more actors confirmed to attend the event which include Lee Jun Ho, Jung Sung Il, Kim Young Dae, Lee Jun Young, Moon Sang Min, Yoo Seon Ho, Ahn Dong Goo, and Park Jae Chan. 

Lee Jun Ho, who won the grand prize, Actor of the Year, at 2022 AAA, captured women’s hearts in the JTBC drama King The Land and succeeded in becoming a global box office hit for the second consecutive time following The Red Sleeve.

Jung Sung Il is gaining popularity, having been recognized for his acting skills and rising stardom through the Netflix original series The Glory and tvN’s Our Blues. He is about to appear in the Netflix movie War and Revolt, transforming into a Japanese military general.

Kim Young Dae who received the Best Acting Performance award at the 2022 AAA, also announced his attendance. He captured the attention of the viewers by showing off his various charms in Forbidden Marriage, Shooting Stars and Penthouse. His new drama, Moon is currently airing.

Lee Jun Young who also attended 2023 AAA’s “Male God”  Kickoff Concert won the Best Actor Award at 2022 AAA. He recently appeared in Mask Girl. His decorated filmography includes various genres such as May I Help You, Let Me Be Your Knight, D.P. and more.

Moon Sang Min captured the hearts of viewers by showing excellent character digestion in Duty After School, Under The Queen’s Umbrella and My Name. Having performed well in various works, he joins the ranks of rising stars, raising expectations for his future activities.

Yoo Seon Ho, who presented great performances in Under The Queen’s Umbrella, The Great Shaman, Ga Doo-shim and Undercover, is growing into an all-around entertainer by playing an active role as the youngest member of the KBS2 tv entertainment program, 2 Days & 1 Night. His latest drama, The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract started airing this November.

Ahn Dong Goo stood out in works such as The Law Cafe, Snowdrop, Our Beloved Summer and Sweet Home. In See You in My Next Life, he doubled his charm by playing the character Ha Do-yoon, Seo-ha’s secretary and best friend.

Park Jaechan, a member of the group KDZ, made his solo debut with his first mini album, JCFACTORY. He participated in overall production and showed upgraded musical capabilities. Jaechan is not only active in music but also in acting. He gained attention as an actor last year through Watcha’s original drama Semantic Error.  

Starnews also affirmed the appearance of Kim Jaejoong, Kim Ji Hoon, Suho and Kentaro Sakaguchi at AAA.

Kim Jaejoong has gained unrivaled popularity both at home and abroad. The multihyphenate has shown off his potential as a global star by playing an active role at the center of the Korean Wave. He received a lot of love from fans with each album he released, and as an actor, he has continuously solidified his presence, clearly affirming his global star value.

Kim Ji Hoon has been in the spotlight recently for Netflix film, Ballerina for his realistic portrayal of Choi Pro, a villain who threatens and exploits women through illegally filmed footage. He previously proved his limitless acting spectrum through Love to Hate You, Money Heist Korea and Flower of Evil.

Siger-actor Suho is showing off busier activities than anyone else by continuing his activities with the group EXO. Last July, EXO’s 7th full-length album EXIST was released, selling over 1.56 million copies in just one week and becoming the 7th million-seller in total, proving its strong presence.

He recently appeared in JTBC drama, Behind Your Touch. Suho has established himself as an actor by appearing in various works such as Rich Man, The Universe’s Star and How Are You Bread? He also worked in films The Present, A Middle School Girl and One Way Trip.

Kentaro Sakaguchi, who debuted as an actor in the 2014 film Shanti Days 365 Days, Happy Breath, appeared in the dramas Signal, Tokyo Tarareba Musume, Okaeri Mone and the movies Color Me True and The 100th Love With You. In particular, he continues to work hard by appearing in the drama Code Japan: The Price of Wishes in July of this year and Side By Side in May. He is also set to appear in Coupang Play series, What Comes After Love with Lee Se Young.

The 2023 Asia Artist Awards IN THE PHILIPPINES, where you can meet movie, drama and K-Pop stars in one place will be held at the Philippine Arena on December 14.
