BLACKPINK To Hold Their First-Ever Live Stream Concert “THE SHOW”

BLACKPINK surprises fans all over the world with their first live stream concert broadcasting this month!

BLACKPINK gears up to deliver fans with their first-ever live stream concert. Following the wave of digital events occurring within the K-pop industry due to COVID-19, BLACKPINK additionally reaches out to fans through an online platform to connect with them in this distancing time.

The concert occurs on December 27 at 2 PM KST through YouTube. Titled simply “THE SHOW”, the event name evokes the same curiosity as BLACKPINK’s similarly coined project, THE ALBUM, which was their first full-length album released this past October.

Along with concert details, the group also revealed a short teaser video across their SNS platforms. Set in a screen printing room, the video displayed short snippets of clips featuring photos of the members during their recent album promotions. Additionally, with the final image revealing a pink crown over a globe, the concert teases BLACKPINK’s global domination with their upcoming event. Fans wait in anticipation for the fantastic stages the members have surely prepared.

PALM STAGE & YouTube Collaboration

Moreover, since this is the group’s first-ever live stream concert and one launched in partnership with YouTube, many anticipate a digital event of large scale. BLACKPINK’s concert also marks the first event of YG’s newly launched concert brand, “PALM STAGE”. Their premiere concert for the brand will express YG’s concert knowledge and execution skills. BLACKPINK’s last tour occurred one year and five months ago, concluding with 32 performances in 23 cities and in four continents.

Members of BLACKPINK will appear in a concert announcement video released on YouTube on December 4 at 2 PM KST. The members will divulge fans with a story related to the concert as well as a special gift.
