BTS Announces Final Stop Of “Love Yourself: Speak Yourself” World Tour
This October, BTS is formally ending their phenomenal Love Yourself concert series with a three-day show in Seoul.
BTS is closing another colorful chapter in their lives as they announce the final stop for their Love Yourself concert series.
A Showstopping Three-Day Concert
On July 15, the group announced that they will be ending their spectacular concert series with a three-day show at the Jamsil Olympic Stadium.
Their final show, aptly titled the BTS World Tour Love Yourself: Speak Yourself [The Final] will take place on October 26, 27, and 29. Ticketing details for the show have not been released at the time of writing.
Prior to this massive finale, BTS has held over 60 international shows across Asia, the United States, and Europe.
A Record-Breaking Concert Series
The Love Yourself World Tour has garnered worldwide acclaim since it began on August 2018. The tour was recognized as one of the best-sellling concerts in 2018, bringing in massive audiences across the Japanese leg of their tour.
Additionally, the tour was also awarded the Daesang and the Best Concert Award at the Edaily Culture Awards held in February 2019.
Aside from bringing in massive numbers of ARMYs to their shows, the concert series marked a few historic feats for BTS. The septet was the first Korean act to hold shows in New York’s Citi Field Arena and London’s Wembley Stadium.
A Box-Office Hit
Their Love Yourself concert series has also been the subject of their second movie! On January 2019, BTS returned to silver screens everywhere through the Love Yourself in Seoul movie.
Love Yourself in Seoul showcased the concert that kicked off their successful world tour. Shot with ScreenX technology, the film brought a truly immersive experience for viewers everywhere as they witnessed the group’s performances and each members’ colorful and unique solo stages.
Ahead of its premiere, Love Yourself in Seoul topped South Korea’s box office in terms of pre-sales. According to the Film Promotion Commission, the film recorded a 54.9% pre-sale ratio days before its premiere.
