[CONCERT RECAP] D.O. Delivers Heartfelt Moments and Music in Singapore’s Do It! Concert
SG Dandanies sing along with D.O. in an unforgettable night of joy!
On 24 August 2025 (Saturday), Singapore once again welcomed D.O. (Doh KyungSoo) with overwhelming love as he returned for his Do It! Concert tour. It had been around a year since his last visit for his Bloom fan-con, and SG Dandanies have been anticipating his return ever since. This time, instead of the intimate fan meeting atmosphere of Bloom, D.O. brought a full concert experience – complete with live band, rich setlist, and a stage that perfectly reflected both his heartfelt sincerity and playful wit.

Opening with “Do You Remember,” “Nobody Knows,” and “Wonder,” he immediately drew fans into his world. Greeting the crowd warmly, D.O. remarked on Singapore’s ever-pleasant weather, asked if everyone had arrived safely, and shared how glad he was to finally be back. With that, the distance of months apart dissolved into cheers, smiles, and the promise of an unforgettable evening together.
The first act continued with “Mars,” “Where You Were,” and “Simple Joys.” Between songs, D.O. encouraged fans to sing along with the lyrics displayed on the screen — lyrics he personally loved. Then, in true Kyungsoo humor, he mentioned that although he had arrived in Singapore the day before, he hadn’t yet had a chance to eat — but promised that after the show, he would be going head-to-head in a “fight” with the famous chilli crab.

He then teased that the Singapore crowd seemed “a little on the quiet side,” which quickly drew playful protests and louder cheers. With a grin, he shifted the mood, announcing a more sultry turn into R&B with “Fit” and “I’m Gonna Love You.”
The energy soared again with “Popcorn,” “5 Minutes,” and “Sing Along.” Soon after came one of the night’s most heartwarming highlights: a fan-led EXO medley sing-along featuring “The First Snow,” “Don’t Go,” “Growl,” and “Love Me Right.” The venue lit up with fans’ voices, and when D.O. returned with his own snippet of “Love Me Right,” the nostalgia was electric.

“It’s been a long time since EXO songs, right?” D.O. said with a bright smile. “It’s been a while for me too, and I’m so happy to sing them here during the concert.” He went on to share a playful observation: while changing outfits backstage, he could peek through and see the crowd. “It’s funny how everyone shows their personalities differently — some of you are dancing so freely, while others are a little shy. But I know for sure that all of you are enjoying yourselves, right?”
Afterwards, he introduced the talented Do Do Band, who had kept the energy alive by playing the EXO medley during his quick outfit change. To round off the segment, D.O. gifted fans with a heartfelt performance of “Don’t Go,” filling the hall with nostalgia and warmth.
The mood shifted into something more tender as D.O. eased into “It’s Love,” “My Dear,” and “I Do.” Looking out into the hall, he admitted with a chuckle that he was surprised to see so many mums and dads in the audience. With playful curiosity he asked, “How do you know about me?” before quickly following with heartfelt thanks. He expressed his deep gratitude to every fan present, saying how much it meant that people liked his music and had taken the time to come see him.

He then gently steered the night into a calmer phase. The lively, dance-filled segment was over, he explained, and now it was time to slow down and share words that mattered to him through the lyrics of his songs. With that, he poured emotion into “That’s Okay,” “I’ll Be There,” and “Draw My Path.”
Before the next song, he introduced “In Another Life” with quiet sincerity, telling the audience that its lyrics carried something he truly wanted to say to them — a wish for everyone to always be happy and healthy. The song unfolded as one of the concert’s most poignant moments, leaving the crowd hushed and moved.

Closing the main set with “Somebody,” D.O. left the stage briefly before returning for the encore.
The encore began with “Rose,” instantly lighting up the venue with energy and excitement. Prior to a brief photo-taking moment on stage, D.O. was surprised by the special fan video that SG Dandanies had prepared for him. He paused to express his sincere gratitude, acknowledging the love and effort behind the gesture.
He then shared a personal story about his lightstick, explaining that he had designed it himself. The lightstick was intentionally made smaller so that fans could easily fit it into their bags, a detail that delighted everyone in the audience.
For the final song, “Sing Along,” D.O. stepped down from the stage to be closer to the fans, creating an intimate and joyful moment that brought the concert to a warm and memorable close.
D.O.’s Do It! in Singapore was far more than a concert — it was an evening where laughter, nostalgia, and genuine connection came together effortlessly. From playful moments like joking about chilli crab, to revisiting EXO classics, to delivering deeply emotional ballads, D.O. reminded everyone why he is so beloved on stage.

The night left fans with music in their ears, warmth in their hearts, and memories that will linger long after the lights dim — a true embodiment of what it means to “do it!” together.
