It was definitely a “Lovely Day” for the ELFs in Singapore!

Super Junior left a big impression on their fans during their Super Show Spin-off: Halftime In Singapore on 14 July 2024 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. The indoor stadium was filled with the glow of sapphire blue light sticks, the official color of Super Junior’s fanbase, known as ELFs. It was an amazing night for the ELFs who were looking forward to seeing the group.

The concert started off strong from the very beginning with tracks like “Showtime”, “Wonderboy” and “Dancing Out” where the members hyped the crowd to dance along with them. Then, each of the members gave their greetings to the audience, telling them what they did during their stay in Singapore and promising to give their all for this show. During their comments, the members showed off the Singlish words that they have learnt such as “Alamak” and “Lah”.

Then, Super Junior performed “Don’t Wait” and “Runaway”, showcasing their signature blend of energy and professionalism, continuing to set the tone for a night of high-energy performances. Afterwards, the audience was shown a VCR that introduced the 3 units that would perform. Firstly, Leeteuk, Eunhyuk and Donghae (L.E.D) performed “Suit Up” where they showcased their sync choreographies. The next performance was by Shindong, Kyuhyun and Yesung (S.K.Y) who highlighted their vocals with “Let’s Not”. The last unit, consisting of Ryeowook and Siwon (R.S) performed “Danger”, a fiery performance that captivated the audience.

Afterwards, Super Junior performed their solo ballad tracks such as “It Has to Be You”, “At Gwanghwamun” and “The Little Prince” as a group, where they perfectly showcased their beautiful vocals to ELFs. It was evident that the group put their hearts and souls in singing these songs for their fans. After the performances, Shindong even joked that they would hold a ballad concert next time for their fans.

Super Junior then surprised the audience by coming on the stage in school uniforms to perform “Get a Guitar” by Riize and “Hype Boy” by NewJeans, portraying a refreshing look. The next set of performances took a turn as they changed their outfits to suits and ties and performed “SPY” and “Opera” where every member looked dashing.

Super Junior serenaded the ELFs in the audience with romantic tracks like “Lovely Day” and “From U”, and fans could not take their eyes off the members. The group then wrapped up the show with “Devil” and “Black Suit”, showcasing their cohesive choreography and vocal prowess once again.

Everyone in the audience was not ready to go back and shouted for an encore very loudly. The group then came up on stage to perform “A Man In Love” and “Sorry, Sorry”, drawing loud cheers and sing-alongs from the crowd as both the members and the audience were having fun.

Afterwards, each of the members expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the audience, hoped everyone had a great time and promised to come to Singapore again in the future. Before taking pictures to commemorate the moment, Super Junior sang “Believe” as their last performance. The concert then came to a close with the members saying their final goodbyes and waving to their fans.

From their recent hits and beloved classics, it was an unforgettable night for all the ELFs in Singapore. As their journey continues, we can’t help but be excited about when they will come back to Singapore.
