NCT 127 Proves Limitless Capabilities In First Solo Concert In South Korea
Its concept may be unfamiliar to many, but NCT 127 proves it can rise and make its mark in the industry!
NCT 127 wrapped up its first solo domestic concert titled NCT 127 1st Tour “NEO CITY: SEOUL – The Origin” held on January 26 and 27 at the KSPO Dome, one of the largest indoor stadiums in Seoul.
About 24,000 NCTzens lighted up the arena with the green color, the official color of the boy group’s fandom, as the boys fired up the concert stage with a 24-song set list.
Taeyong, Taeil, Yuta, Jaehyun, Mark, Haechan, Johnny, Doyoung, and Jungwoo showcased their limitless capabilities as performers by presenting a wide array of stages which includes hip-hop, R&B, ballad, dance, and electronic dance music.
They performed “Cherry Bomb”, “Limitless”, “Chain”, “Regular”, “Fire Truck”, “Simon Says”, and more.
NCT 127 1st Tour “NEO CITY: SEOUL – The Origin” ran for two hours on each concert day. Fans filled KSPO Dome with their ardent cheers as the boys overwhelmed the crowd with their charisma, as well as, cheerfulness.
Moreover, the members turned emotional during their ment. Taeyong, for one, relayed his gratitude to NCTzens for making NEO CITY possible.
“Actually, it was not easy for us to get to this place. I would like to thank you, our fans, and our members,” he said. He added, “Thank you for making this NEO CITY. Thank you for being a NCTzen.”
Aside from fans, fellow SM Entertainment artists namely TVXQ’s Yunho, Red Velvet, EXO’s Xiumin, and NCT Dream attended the concerts.
Unfortunately, Winwin was unable to participate in the concert due to his activities with NCT China. Haechan’s performances were also limited due to his injury.
Following the Seoul concert, NCT 127 will meet fans in Japan for the NCT 127 1st Tour “NEO CITY: JAPAN – The Origin”. The concert tour will visit seven cities and hold 14 performances.
Haechan will sit out from the concert tour to fully recover from his injury.
