By  |

Before every year ends, the Philippine K-pop Convention Inc. brings thousands of Filipino fans to the annual Philippine Kpop Convention a.k.a KCON.

For the past few years, KCON was graced by various artists, such as Sistar, Got7, Boyfriend and Lunafly. However this year, onto its 7th installment, KCON 7 will go back to basics. It aims to go back to its roots, which means there will be no K-pop artist’s appearance. Fret not, KCON is still ready to bring the meaning of fun to the next level.

Happening on December 19 at the Philippine Trade and Training Center in Pasay City, the longest running K-pop convention will bring a day full of fun and excitement to all. Attendees are expected to satisfy their K-pop cravings as over 50 fan clubs are said to be participating in the event. Special performances from various artists known in the local K-pop community will also be showcased.

K-pop merchandise booths will be set up to attend to fans’ K-pop needs. Special prizes also await those who join the games and activities. Apart from the K-pop Look-Alike contest, a singing contest and dance battle will also be conducted.

Tickets will be up for purchase at Php 350.00, with proceeds going to the Gawad Kalinga, Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) and PKCI’s student scholars. For the latest updates, fans can follow the official Facebook page here.
