SHINee Successfully Kicks Off Japanese Tour “SHINee World VI Perfect Illumination”

This is SHINee’s first Japanese tour in nearly six years!

SHINee kicked off their Japan tour SHINee World VI ‘Perfect Illumination at the Saitama Super Arena on September 30 and October 1. This was the first local tour held in five years and seven months since SHINee World The Best 2018 ~From Now On~ in February 2018 and received a warm response.

In this performance, SHINee not only performed the title song “Hard” of their eighth album and the b-side songs “Juice and “Like It,” but also performed “Pick Me Up,” which showed a chair performance from various angles on a rotating stage, and “Body Rhythm” with a combination of intense lasers and fireworks. They even performed Japanese versions of the hit songs “Dream Girl” “Don’t Call Me,” “Downtown Baby,” and “Diamond Sky.”

In particular, through this performance, SHINee made a surprise announcement that the first Tokyo Dome concert in almost six years, SHINee World VI ‘Perfect Illumination Japan Final Live in Tokyo Dome, will be held on February 24 and 25 2024, heralding a special performance that can only be seen at Tokyo Dome. It drew an explosive response from the audience.

Meanwhile, SHINee will follow Saitama with an arena tour of 8 performances in 4 cities, including Osaka Castle Hall on October 6-7, Nagoya Nihongaishi Hall on November 22-23, and Tokyo National Yoyogi Stadium on November 28-29. The finale will be held at the Tokyo Dome concert on February 24-25, 2024.
