Taeyang Makes Generous Effort By Hosting A Flea Market & Auction
Hitting two birds with one stone, BIGBANG member Taeyang, in cooperation with his friends, held a flea market and auction event
Among his friends who participated in the meaningful event are Sandara Park, AKMU, WINNER, iKON and CL. The charity event showcased more than 1,300 collections, 2,200 fashion items and lifestyle items, as well as, furniture on January 18.
The charity event is part of his plan to engage more with his fans. At the same time, the proceeds of the event will be donated to children and adolescents who are hearing impaired.
To participate in the event, a registration was launched and interested attendees and fans of the artists likewise came in batches to check out the items sold at the event. A maximum of three items can be bought in the displayed items.
Attendees who flocked to the venue were treated with reasonably priced items. Ranging from $1 to $10, accessories, bags and other apparels were sold abundantly.
An auction to personal items of Taeyang was also held per batch with him personally conducting the auction. An auctioned cap went as high as 3.7 million Korean won. Additionally, fans of mixed races trooped to the flea market and participated in the auction.
A goodie bag was also prepared for the participants bearing cookies, pen and some toiletries.
In related news, Taeyang, G-Dragon, T.O.P, and Daesung are set to headline the 2020 edition of Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. The aforementioned event is the largest music festival in the United States.
The group is scheduled to appear on April 10 and 17 to decorate the Friday night slots of the festivity.
