Wanna One Officially Unleashed Golden Time In “ONE: THE WORLD” Seoul Kick Off
Promising a golden time to their fans, Wanna One fired boomerang of charged performances for the first stop of its world tour!
Over 60,000 fans filled Gocheok Skydome on June 1 to 3 to witness a blazing stage by the phenomenal boy group chosen as top finishers of Produce 101 Season 2 a year ago.
Wanna One World Tour <ONE: THE WORLD> Seoul stop became another sold out spectacle for the award-winning boy group who first held their debut showcase at Gocheok Skydome, a first for any newbie group in the history of K-Pop.
“We are ready to make the happiest days of our lives. It is hard to be most joyful for three consecutive days, but we will make it,” said Wanna One’s center Kang Daniel who vowed to burn up the venue that would become a prized memory for them and their believers.
Clad in white uniform, Wanna One opened their concert stage with hit tracks “Never” and “Energetic” to the roaring applause of local fans.
The members, who changed to tuxedo after the opening stage, greeted their fans hinting how they prepared to burn the dome bright after lit performances of “Boomerang” and “Beautiful”.
The fulfilment of the unit-making promise shown in their TV show Wanna One Go: X-CON also premiered four heart-stopping performances from their upcoming album, UNDIVIDED.
The vocal line – “Lean on Me”, Yoon Ji Sung, Ha Sung Woon, and Hwang Min Hyun rendered a sweet stage through “Forever + 1”, produced by Nell.
The visual group – “Number 1”, Park Ji Hoon, Lai Guan Lin, and Bae Jin Young spurred an overwhelming atmosphere to the cheering fans by slaying “11”, produced by Dynamic Duo.
“The Heal” – Ong Seung Woo and Lee Dae Hwi flaunted “Hourglass” which they collaborated with Heize.
“Triple Position” – Kang Daniel, Kim Jae Hwan, and Park Woo Jin capped off the subgroup showcase with song “Kangaroo” by Zico.
When Wanna One members said they prepared well for their concert, they definitely mean it as they put the already frenzied fans to solo special numbers which brought the house down.
Main vocalist Kim Jae Hwan belted a strong performance with “Let’s Go”, the title track of his upcoming album.
Hwang Min Hyun intoxicated the crowd with a steamy blindfold choreography dropping a quick peek of his sexy abs which he has been preparing in strict diet and workout in the last three months.
It definitely paid off as the onsite fans enthusiastically cheered him up for the effort.
Wanna One showed a total of 20 tracks for about 3 hours up to the finale song “I Promise You”.
The members owned the round-shaped stage designed to make them move as close as possible to the audience.
In addition to the gorgeous stage unit, two extra large monitors allow fans to focus more on Wanna One’stage.
The best rookie group of 2017 will tour 14 cities in three months including San Jose, Dallas, Chicago, Atlanta, Singapore, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Melbourne, Taipei, and Manila.
In related news, UNDIVIDED, Wanna One’s fourth album will be broadcast live worldwide tonight at 6 pm on Mnet and Mnet KPOP YouTube Channels, as well as, Mnet and Wanna One Facebook pages through the final chapter of Wanna One Go: X-CON.
