Asha And FameUS Grace The 2015 Philippines-Korea Cultural Exchange
The Philippines and South Korea had been displaying a long history of friendship through the Philippine-Korea Cultural Exchange Festival.
Each year, the Philippine-Korea Cultural Exchange Festival gets bigger and better. Hosted by Korean Cultural Center (KCC) and the Embassy of Republic of Korea, together with the United Korean Community Association in the Philippines (UKCA) and the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA), the event just gets better with new performances and line-up.
This year, the event was graced by two up and coming Korean groups, Asha and FameUS. The two groups set the roof on fire as they performed in front of Filipino and Korean audiences. FameUs’ Hansaem, Kudo, Junghoon, Daeyoung, Doah and Hanyoung wowed the crowd when they sang a popular Tagalog song titled Nasa ‘Yo Na Ang Lahat. They also sang their latest song You Can Play With It. Asha’s Da-Ae, Nara, Yoha and Hyuna fired up the audience’s energy when they performed their debut song Mr. Liar.
Performances from the well renowned folkloric dance group in the Philippines, Ramon Obusan Folkloric Group, also sparkled the night. Uhee Nori, a professional traditional Korean percussion performers excited everyone with their mind blowing performance.
Another event highlight was when students from the Korean Cultural Center in the Philippines showcased their talent through a musical and Hangbok fashion show. Talents from both Korean and Filipino contestants also echoed the night as they presented themselves with their performances.
