Sistar, Got7 and Bernard Park end 2014 with a bang at KCON 6

Sistar, Got7 and Bernard Park satisfied Filipino fans’ K-pop cravings as they treated them with a year-end party at the 6th installment of K-pop Convention, also known as KCON 6, last December 28 at the SMX Convention Center.

Philippine K-pop Convention Inc. and PULP World Live did not fail Filipino fans’ expectations as they organized an event full of fun, surprises and exciting prizes. The event highlights were definitely the performances of Bernard Park, Got7 and Sistar.

Bernard Park serenaded his Filipino fans with his heart-warming voice, performing hit songs like Before the Rain, Stay with You and Right Here Waiting. He amazed pinoy fans when he sang the tagalog song called Nasayo na ang Lahat.

Hip-hop group Got7 made sure that fans would certainly love their performance. They performed their hit songs like Girls, Girls, Girls , Stop Stop It, Gimme and A. JB, Mark, Jr., Jackson, Youngjae, Bambam and Yugyeom made their female fans flutter as they performed their medium tempo songs Forever Young and Moonlight. They also interacted with their fans as they participated in games. Fans then surprised them as they celebrated JB’s birthday and first year anniversary.

Sending the night wild was Sistar as they performed Touch my Body, Alone, Ma Boy and I Swear. They then surprised their Filipino fans as they sang a ballad song Lead Me. Like Got7, Sistar also had an interaction with their fans and they play well in every game. The first game made Dasom the winner as the band danced to one of the Philippine’s dance craze Cha Cha. Soyou, Bora and Hyolyn sent the whole crowd even crazier as they attempted to speak the local language in a charming manner. Soyou was named the winner of this game. The third game left Bora and Hyolyn acting cute in a Gwiyomi Song, and Bora won this round. As a punishment, Hyolyn sang a verse from the popular Let it Go.

Sistar also awarded the winners of this year’s K-pop cosplay event, singing contest and dance contest. Other performances from K-pop cover groups and the up and coming dance diva Dasuri Choi also graced the event.

Fan club booths and merchandise boosted the excitement of fans. The whole day was full of fun and excitement, and will surely remain memorable not only to the fans but to the performers, as well, for another year to come.
