EXO’s Kai Stars In Esquire’s March 2021 Issue + Shows His 1st Collection With Gucci

Kai of South Korea’s representative boy group EXO has recently flaunted his visual-blinding looks as the cover star of Esquire’s March 2021 issue.
Recently, the fashion magazine released the stunning photos of the idol through its social media channels and various media outlets. The K-pop star officially unveiled his very first collection with Gucci. Remarkably, it is the first time that the said Italian luxury brand has launched a collection with a Korean celebrity.
Aside from gracing the pictorial with his manly charms, Kai likewise gamely participated in an interview with Esquire.
The multi-talented idol first revealed that it took around eight months to complete his solo debut preparations. “I put a lot of effort to find the middle of something new but not unfamiliar. Now, I am proud that many people understand and listen to my voice. I think it will be lighter when I release the next album or the next song,” he said.
He also shared thoughts about his first collection with the popular brand. “The Kai Gucci Capsule Collection features a bear, my favorite animal. Gucci is a high-brand, and it doesn’t feel like it’s lightly worn. But with this cute bear, I made it feel more casual. Bears are drawn here and there, so I think I can wear it more cutely. People of all ages can wear it on a daily basis,” he said.
Kai has been Gucci’s global ambassador for two years now. He represented South Korea at the brand’s Fall 2020 Men’s wear show at the Milan Fashion week last year. Moreover, he was chosen as the very first Korean male global icon for Gucci Eyewear.
