The ladies of (G)I-DLE had been selected as the newest models of the sports lifestyle brand Akii Classic!
The girl group is taking on an exciting venture as the newest endorsers for the sports lifestyle brand with an aim of catching the eyes of the new generation!
“We plan to strengthen the connection of the Millenial-Z generations and the brand image leading the trend through (G)I-DLE, who swept the rookie award with such an unrivalled concept,” a representative for Akii Classic shared.
“We are very happy to be with (G)I-DLE and we are thankful for the keen interest of their official fan club Neverland. With this opportunity, we plan to show a new side of Akii Classic that will expand our brand awareness to various age groups by increasing our understanding of the millennial and Z generations,” they commented as well.
(G)I-DLE, who debuted in 2018, has become a popular idol group by sweeping numerous awards at various year-end award ceremonies. Last year, they put out a series of hits with the title track of their second mini-album I Made titled “Senorita” as well as the digital single “Uh-Oh” which drew much love from global fans.
Moreover, the girl group has been praised for their unique concept and performance on Mnet’s Queendom and has continued becoming a global trend by showing powerful presence on local music sites with their latest comeback single “LION” as well as charting on the U.S. Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales Chart for four consecutive weeks.
Meanwhile, the first pictorial of the 2020 Akii Classic S/S season, which will cater to the hip appeal of (G)I-DLE, will be released through the brand’s official online and offline channels.
