K-Photo Reel: Im Si Wan For The Star Magazine June 2019 Issue
Im Si Wan makes you (really) want to have a relaxing trip in his recent photos released by The Star magazine.
Wearing comfy clothing in vibrant hues, Im Si Wan harmonizes well in the pictorial theme “One Fine Day”. Shot in Japan, the singer-actor dons cozy short-sleeved polo shirt, fashionable t-shirts and a hoodie. Each captured photo shows different angles of handsome looks from Im Si Wan.
Fresh from completing his military service, Im’s pictures emit an aura of happiness and confidence. Confessing he wants to work as soon as he got discharged from active duty, the actor shared that he will be completing a few photo shoots before working on his new drama.
In the interview, Im relayed how he looks on what kind of improvisation he has to do when picking a role. Adding how he is his own critic, he also rates his work comprehensively. Moreover, perceiving himself in the work is also one of the considerations why he chose to appear in Strangers from Hell.
Acting Inspiration + Acting Plans
When asked how he gets acting inspiration, he said, “I concentrate mainly on the script, and when I lack something I consult the director.”
“When I was in the army, I was convinced to have a sense of accomplishment through acting. I thought it takes a lot of skills to act,” he remarked, expressing his passion for work and acting. Modestly sharing his aspiration for the year 2019, he said being happy to be working again as an actor.
For his post-military comeback drama, Im will be the second runner of OCN’s “dramatic cinema” project. Based on a popular webtoon, the new series will feature Im Si Wan suiting up for his new role as Yoon Jong Woo. Moving to Seoul for his new job, he encounters cryptic incidents in the place that he will move in. Starring with Lee Dong Wook, expectations are heightening for this new work slated for broadcast in the second half of 2019.
