SEVENTEEN Launches Eco-Friendly Bracelets In Collaboration With World-Class Jewelry Designer
SEVENTEEN showcases their global influence as they clinch a historical collaboration with a world-renowned jewelry designer.
SEVENTEEN writes down another history by becoming the first Korean artists to work with the renowned jewelry designer Francesca Amfitheatrof.
On July 1, SEVENTEEN revealed the collaboration bracelets with Francesca Amfitheatrof under her jewelry brand line Thief and Heist.
Francesca Amfitheatrof is the first female Design Director of Tiffany & Co. Currently, she is an Artistic Director of the fashion powerhouse Louis Vuitton Jewelry. She is the founder of the global jewelry brand Thief and Heist.
Thief and Heist named SEVENTEEN as its second collaboration partner after the globally-acclaimed pop star Elton John.
The collaborative bracelet is a cable tie-like accessory called “The Tag”. Its flat silver part has an engraving of SEVENTEEN’s unique logo. It is non-disposable type of bracelet made from recycled plastic.
Francesca and SEVENTEEN’s Message
When asked about why she choose SEVENTEEN as new partners, Francesca revealed, “As a huge fan of SEVENTEEN, I’ve always admired the team’s style. I proposed a collaboration because joining these famous global stars would be a perfect distinction.”
SEVENTEEN acknowledged, “We were honored and amazed since it’s our first time to officially collaborate with a global designer.”
“We think making bracelets out of recycled plastic and donating the portion of its proceeds to a plastic bank organization that strives to preserve the environment are all meaningful.” the team added.
Throughout the years, SEVENTEEN has been donating and sharing in various ways. Through a collaboration of good intentions, the movement immediately draws public’s attention.
Possibility for another collaboration
The group asked, “We wonder if you are fine with another collaboration to make SEVENTEEN’s next matching rings.” Francesca instantly replied, “I am 100% okay with it.”
“We are looking forward to it too.” the group responded, raising expectations with another project of two well-known artists.
Meanwhile, a surprise video call between SEVENTEEN and Francesca Amfitheatrof will be released on Monotube’s official YouTube channel on July 3.
“The Tag” bracelet will be available for purchase on Monotube shop online on July 3.
