In case you missed it, My Happy Ending and Like Flowers in Sand recently premiered. Correspondingly, Castaway Diva and The Matchmakers recently concluded with A Good Day To Be A Dog, Maestra: Strings of Truth, My Demon, The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract and Tell Me That You Love Me approaching their final episodes.

The story of young people struggling to make flowers bloom on the sand against the background of a wrestling city aims to provide pleasant excitement and warm emotions.

In Night Has Come, after their mid-term, the high school students of Yooil go on a school retreat to Damyang. At the fall of the day, the students arrive at the secluded retreat center located in the deep mountains.

Queen of Divorce | Jan 31 | JTBC | *NEW

Queen of Divorce is billed as the story of a “bad spouse” punishment solution service company aiming to put an end to a troubled marriage life raised by a client.

Lee Ji Ah plays the role of Kim Sara, the team leader of the divorce settlement company Solution. Sara, a former daughter-in-law of Korea’s top law firm, loses her everything overnight after being stabbed in the back by her husband.

Kang Ki Young plays the role of Dong Ki-joon, Sara’s business partner and an advisory lawyer in Solution. Ki-joon is a person who boasts extraordinary tenacity and tact to the point where he was nicknamed ‘shepherd” during his time as a prosecutor.


Tell Me That You Love Me | ENA

Co-produced by Studio & New and Artist Studio, Tell Me That You Love Me promises a healing romance drama poignantly sketched.

The series chronicles the silent love between a painter who speaks with his hands and an actress who listens with her heart.

Completing their love using their eyes as language and facial expressions as confessions truly taps into the emotions of viewers.


A Good Day To Be A Dog | MBC | *Wednesday Only

Adapted from the Naver webtoon of the same name, A Good Day To Be A Dog revolves around Han Hae-na (Park Gyu-young), a seemingly ordinary high school teacher, who lives with her family’s curse of turning into a dog after a kiss. The only way to break the curse is if she kisses the same man again while she’s in the form of a dog. 

The catch? The only one who can break the spell, Seo-won (Cha Eun-woo), is deathly afraid of dogs. Watch on to see if Hae-na can successfully lift the curse in this quirky K-drama.

Flex X Cop follows the story of a chaebol detective who catches criminals.

Joining the lineage of SBS Friday-Saturday heroes, Ahn Bo Hyun portrays Jin Yi-soo a parachute detective and a third-generation childish chaebol who loves having fun.

Death’s Game, based on a popular webtoon of the same name centers on Choi Yi-jae (Seo In Guk), who is down on his luck in every facet of his life. Overwhelmed with all of his failures, Yee-jae decides to take his own life and “control death.” Death (Park So Dam) then decides to punish Yee-jae and he is reincarnated 12 different times, living 12 different lives. As a part of his punishment, Yi-jae must stop their imminent deaths.


Gyeongseong Creature Part 2 | Netflix | *NEW

Set to deliver thrill and action, Gyeongseong Creature follows individuals going up against monstrous creatures that were born out of human greed. Set in the spring of 1945, in the city of Gyeongseong, the series is highly anticipated due to the sheer amount of talent tied to it.

Gyeongseong is the former name of Korea’s capital city Seoul, and the name used during Japanese colonial rule. The upcoming series invites audiences to 1945 Gyeongseong, the hotbed of turmoil caused by creatures that suddenly appear and wreak havoc on an already troubled world.

Park Seo Jun plays Jang Tae-sang. With his flawless appearance and skillful management skills, he holds all the necessary information about money, goods, people, and even people’s lives.

Meanwhile, Han So Hee plays Yoon Chae-ok who crosses from Manchuria to Gyeongseong with her father in search of clues about her missing mother and makes a deal with Jang Tae-sang.

Adding to the robust portfolio of genre master Yeon Sang Ho, The Bequeathed depicts the story of a series of ominous events that occur when a person inherits a mountain left behind after the death of his uncle, whom he had forgotten even existed, and secrets related to it are revealed.


LTNS | Jan 19 | TVING | *NEW

Giving adultery a funny twist is the premise of TVING’s LTNS.

LTNS is a comedy-drama of an estranged couple. They threaten an adulterous couple in order to earn money, and in the process, face their already ruined relationship.

The series aims to show the reality of sexless couples as well as stories of various adulterous couples.

In the drama, Esom (The Third Charm) and Ahn Jae Hong (Be Melodramatic) are a couple who have been married for five years without a home, children, or a relationship.


My Man is Cupid | Prime Video |

My Man Is Cupid features a star-crossed love story between a love fairy and a human woman. Cheon Sang-hyuk (Jang Dong Yoon) is a love fairy who lost his wings in a tragic incident 500 years ago. Since then, he has been going through metamorphoses and living as a human to regain his wings.

He comes across Oh Baek-ryun (Nana), a veterinary surgeon whose beauty attracts many men. Unfortunately, men who try to get romantically involved with her are inexplicably struck by supernatural accidents. The pair who have been unlucky in love feel drawn to one another, but will fate be on their side?

The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract | MBC

The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract is adapted from a popular webcomic of the same name into a romance fantasy series revolving around a girl from the Joseon period who
travels to modern times. Park Yeon-owo, (Lee Se Young), a lady from an influential family in the 19th century, suffers a sad fate and gets thrown into a well. She then wakes up in the year 2023 and ends up in a fake marriage with a man who looks like her ex-husband (Bae In Hyuk).

To be directed by Park Sang Hoon (My Secret Terrius), penning the script is Wife Scandal writer, Go Nam-jung.


Boyhood | Coupang Play

Set in 1989, Boyhood tells the story of Jang Byung-tae (Im Si Wan), a loser whose life goal is not to be bullied. Moving to a new school, he transforms into the school’s best boy overnight. It also features the friendly and humorous Chungcheong lifestyle and humor


Saturday-Sunday

Captivating the King | Jan 21 | tvN | *NEW

Captivating the King chronicles the cruel fate of King Lee In who is high-ranking but despondent, and Kang Hee-soo who dreamed of revenge but fell in love with him.

Director Jo Nam-kuk, who was recognized for his solid directing skills through dramas such as The Good Detective and The Untouchables, and writer Kim Seon-deok, who started the legend of a well-made historical drama for tvN with The Crowned Clown collaborated for the series.

Doctor Slump | Jan 27 | JTBC | *NEW

Doctor Slump threads on the story of two rivals who were reunited in the darkest period of their lives. In the process, they become each other’s light bringing excitement, laughter, and warm solace.

Portraying the role of Yeo Jung-woo, a star plastic surgeon who falls into the worst slump of his life is Park Hyung Sik. Meanwhile, Park Shin Hye plays the character Nam Ha-neul, an anesthesiologist suffering from burnout syndrome.

Welcome to Samdalri traverses the long connection shared by Jo Yong-pil (Ji Chang Wook) and Jo Sam-dal (Shin Hye Sun).

The two have a long history of friendship. They were born in Jeju, five minutes apart on the same day.

From then on, they attended the same school from elementary to college. They also share smiles and affection with each other’s families.

However, their inseparable connection came to a pause. Yong-pil decides to stay in their hometown but Sam-dal pursues a new life in Seoul.

When a highly accomplished conductor decides to leave her life in New York behind to take up the challenge of reviving a struggling Korean orchestra, her past will threaten to destroy everything she’s worked for in MAESTRA: Strings of Truth, a new Korean mystery thriller coming December 9 to Disney+.

A visionary violin player from a young age, Cha See-um quickly swapped her bow for a baton, traveling from Seoul to New York City, where she became one of the world’s most accomplished conductors. After a hugely successful career, Seeum returns to her homeland when it becomes clear her past is about to be exposed.


My Happy Ending | TV Chosun

My Happy Ending is a human story about a woman who only chased success and faced a shocking truth due to the betrayal of the people she trusted. The topic of what true happiness is raised through a mystery thriller that begins with the misfortune of those around you sacrificed for someone else’s happiness.

Reuniting after six years since Confession Couple, Jang Nara and Son Ho Jun challenge a psychological thriller story in My Happy Ending.

Notably, helming the project is director Cho Su-won of I Hear Your Voice, Pinocchio, Still 17, and Doctor John fame, raising viewers’ expectations.

In addition, joining Jang Nara and Son Ho Jun are reliable actors So Yi Hyun, Lee Ki Taek, Kim Hong Pa, and Park Ho San.
