AOA’s Jimin Talks About Skincare For Cosmopolitan Korea September 2019 Issue

By  |

Cosmopolitan Korea talked to AOA’s Jimin about skin and other in-betweens.

In an interview with Cosmopolitan Korea, AOA’s Jimin gave readers a few beauty tips based on how she herself takes care of her skin.

“Beauty secrets? Take care of your body’s skin as much as your face,” she said. It is not new to know about the wave of K-beauty in local and overseas markets.

However, the focus of the majority goes greatly to the efforts towards the face. Facial creams, face care sets and face masks litter the consumer market in hopes of getting that flawless face. For Jimin, it’s not all that matters.

Additionally, she mentioned the importance of cleansing and choosing the right cosmetics for your face. Some products vary with the intensity of use or even which skin it works best with, whether dry, oily, normal or combination skin.

The K-Pop star shared that she thinks body care is as important as facial care. “Someone said it’s not annoying to apply body lotion thoroughly. I’m so used to it now that I don’t even bother with it.” she said.

All hail the queens

AOA Jimin will be joining her team on a new Mnet survival variety show. Queendom is a competition show that will revolve around six artists competing for spots on the music charts.

Participating groups will be releasing singles simultaneously to determine which group will rise up to the top. Aside from showcasing the preparations each artist will be undergoing for the show, they will also feature audience reactions to each artist’s comeback.

“When artists make a comeback, they try to avoid competing with each other,” MC Lee Da Hee says in a teaser for the show.

“This is a comeback game to see which group comes out on top.” Queendom will be premiering this August.
