CHA EUN WOO Creates Lasting Memories and Takes Fans on a Mystery Elevator Ride in Manila Fan-con

PH AROHAs certainly have more than enough of Cha Eun Woo’s wit and charms at his fan-con over the weekend.

Cha Eun Woo 2024 Just One 10 Minute [Mystery Elevator] leg in Manila happened on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at the Mall of Asia Arena. The venue is packed with fans who were all so excited to see their favorite man.

Cha Eunwoo was in his element as he reciprocated the energy and passion he received from the crowd.

Cha Eun Woo 2024 Just One 10 Minute [Mystery Elevator] Performances

Kicking off the event, Eunwoo sang his rendition of Lee Hyori’s “10 Minutes” and followed it up with “Fu*king Great Time”, a track from his first mini-album ENTITY. After greeting the audience and expressing his excitement as well, he serenaded the fans with “STAY”, the title track from his latest release. Then sang a cover version of Backstreet Boys’ “As Long as You Love Me”.

Coming into the next segment, Cha Eunwoo performed “First Love”. He walked fans down the memory lane with a dance medley of ASTRO songs, “CRAZY SEXY COOL”, “KNOCK”, and “CANDY SUGAR POP”. Eunwoo also treated fans to a performance of “Jealousy”, which he revealed to have been especially rearrange for the fan-concert. After which, he sang “U&I”, another song from his first EP.

He returned on stage with a heartfelt performance of “Love Sailing”, an official soundtrack from the Korean Movie Decibel. Rounding up the main stage was the song number “Memories”.

For his encore stage, Cha Eunwoo sang “You’re the Best” and “Love So Fine”, perfectly encapsulating the emotions all throughout the night.

Keeping true to the fan meeting concept, the event has its fun (fan) corners.

EUNWOO’s CONCEPT STORE

In this corner, Eunwoo has to choose items specifically picked by AROHAs. Each item has a corresponding “price” or questions that he needed to answer. While wearing a cat ears headband and cat paws, Eunwoo revealed as a TMI that he was so happy the previous night as a lot of people watched his latest drama Wonderful World. He bantered with the crowd as he asked if they have watched the latest episode. When asked how he immersed himself in crying scenes, he said that there is no exact method. For him, concentrating on his character helps him a lot. He also said that the water sports he really would like to try is scuba diving and he invited the Filipino AROHAs to do it together.

The second item he picked is a crown, mischievously saying “I am King”. For this item, he was tasked to show in five ways his recently trending catch phrase “Something like…”. Eunwoo did cute, sexy, kind, chic, and serious. He also fulfilled AROHAs request and asked the crowd to dance with him in the vernacular.

His third choice were items from the Golden Bell (red cap and uniform jacket). He needed to draw a message for AROHAs in ten seconds. Ever the achiever, Eunwoo managed to scribble “Aroha I Love U – from Eunwoo (사랑해)” within the given time frame.

For the next fun segment, Cha Eunwoo interacted with fans as he picked four lucky ones to strike different poses with him. The highlight of this corner was the male fan who, instead of doing the rock paper scissor pose, threw a finger heart at Eunwoo. He was caught off-guard but smiled widely and appreciated the witty gesture.

CONSTELLATION OBSERVATORY

Eunwoo dazzled the crowd with his “magic” as he made a very special constellation for his fans in the Philippines. This made the event extra special, adding more to the memories made on that night.

Audience Interactions (Ment)

From the very first second he stepped on stage, Cha Eunwoo brought in excitement and joy to the crowd. In between segments and in every opportunity, addressed the audience with sincerity. He said he was really looking forward to seeing AROHAs. He felt it has been quite sometime since he was in the country and that added more to his eagerness.

“The mystery elevator is a very special device I created with AROHAs in my mind”, he remarked. Adding that the amazing device “will take us anywhere we like.” Eunwoo conversed with the fans in English, Tagalog, and mostly in Korean.

“The Philippines is special to me”, he stated and recalled the time he went to Tagaytay (a place in the south of Manila). He remembered being small (height) then, but he had made great memories. He also commented on the enthusiasm and passion of the crowd, adding that he is happy to feel once again the great energy from his PH AROHAs.

He thanked the fans for singing him the Happy Birthday song (the first ones to do so) as well as the fan project video. He promised to come back and told fans he is always grateful for all the love and support.
