[CONCERT RECAP] Amber Liu Promised “No More Sad Songs” To MeUs At Recent Singapore Stop
A Party-like Concert that would spark your “Curiosity”
On 20 March 2024, Amber Liu left the audience in awe during her “No More Sad Songs 2024 Tour” at The Theatre at Mediacorp.
Amber started the concert by performing uplifting tracks like “EASIER” before transitioning into slow tracks like “Stay Calm”, “Hands Behind My Back” and “Dusk Till Dawn” as psychedelic and groovy graphics flashed in the background.

The artist commented that it was her last lag for the Asia Tour and encouraged her fans to be themselves during the time they were there. Then, Amber continued to present her androgynous charm by performing choreographies with a perfect blend of masculine and feminine energies during songs like “Curiosity”, “Neon”, “ILY” and “Make It Better”. Her silly side came through as she leaned onto dancers during “Neon” with a sly and mischievous smile on her face.
Amber introduced the next song “Three Million Years” as her most romantic track as some of her fans had used it as their wedding song and she feels honored by that. Her stable vocals shone through the song as her fans sang along with her. Afterwards, she dedicated the track “I LOVE SOMEBODY” to the singles that came for the concert, saying that no one should be left out.

After a small intermission to announce giveaway winners, Amber sang an unreleased demo she wrote while playing video games called “Laser Tag,” which was an upbeat track. She also performed “Taste of You” in a slow acoustic style, which had fans lighting their torchlight from their phones as they moved along to the music.
Amber thanked everyone for coming down to see her on a Wednesday evening and promised that she would love to come to Singapore again because she loved the weather. She then continuously performed “LATELY”, “NUMB”, “Hate Myself”, “Blue” and “Can’t Go Yet”, proving that she ‘s not just a singer, but a true performer in every sense of the word.
In the latter part of the concert, Amber encouraged MeUs to sing, dance and have fun before performing “No More Sad Songs”, “DON’T DANCE” and “Countdown”. Everyone in the audience was certainly brought along with her energy and was hyped up. Amber then ended the concert by performing “Other People”, thanking her fans once again for coming with her by sending hearts to the audience.

Of course, the MeUs were not ready to go back yet and shouted loudly for an encore. Amber then appeared back on stage to perform a band version of “Shake That Brass,” a song old K-Pop fans knew too well, before ending the night with “Paradise.”
Before everyone went back home, Amber took pictures with MeUs in Singapore to commemorate the special night. It had been an amazing and intimate experience for everyone that came for the concert. As her journey continues, we can’t help but be excited about when he will come back to Singapore.
Amber Liu “No More Sad Songs” Tour in Singapore is brought to the fans by Live Nation Singapore. Team HelloKpop would like to extend gratitude to Live Nation Singapore for the media invite.
