CONCERT RECAP: Han Seung Woo Makes Everyone’s Hearts Flutter at The Special Live ONE in Manila
Filipino HAN_As were runnin’ high on adrenaline as they shared a special night with Han Seung Woo during his first solo concert in Manila!
August 20, 2023 is a dog-eared page in Filo HAN_As and Han Seung Woo’s books as it marked the solo artist’s first concert in Manila. The 2023 HAN SEUNG WOO SPECIAL LIVE <ONE> in MANILA was held in SM North Sky Dome under MakeItLive Asia’s organization.
HAN SEUNG WOO in MANILA Highlights
The show commenced with Seung Woo appearing against a red backdrop, performing the “Intro” from his latest EP, Frame, shortly followed by the EP’s title track, “Dive Into You”. Both songs were the perfect kick starters to hype the audience as they flawlessly showcased the singer’s exemplary vocal, rap, and dance skills.
After the opening, Seung Woo proceeded to formally greet the fans, adorably saying Filipino phrases like “Mahal ko kayo” and “Magandang araw”. As if thanking the crowd for attending his Manila show was not enough, the singer made sure to dive into the fans’ hearts as he went around the stage to greet the HAN_As on all sides of the venue.
Seung Woo then serenaded the crowd with “Flutter” and “Child”, his live vocals a sweet treat for everyone as his melodic singing encased the venue. The way he lovingly gazed at HAN_As as he sang was a total guarantee that fans would be dealing with PCD as soon as they listened to these songs after the concert.

During his next ment, Seung Woo shared that the Hong Kong show was supposed to be the end of his tour, but it’s all thanks to Filipino HAN_As that it was made possible for him to add one last stop in Manila.
The crowd’s cheerful response was amplified when the singer promised that he would keep on coming back to the Philippines for more shows in the future.
For his next songs, the singer asked for the crowd to rise from their seats as they all jammed along to the bangers, “Reply”, “Sacrifice”, “Runnin’ High”, “I Just want love”, and “Lovelorn”. As they waited for the artist to return for the encore stage, the audience hummed along to Seung Woo’s songs playing in the background, waving their lightsticks at the same time.
HAN_As’ love for Seung Woo was blazing high while he performed “Burn” for the encore, where the crowd raised their purple scrunchies as they sang along – a part of the fan project initiated by the artist’s PH fanbases.
To keep the energy up, the singer once again performed “Runnin’ High” and it was obvious how the audience couldn’t get enough as they danced and jumped along as if it’s the first performance of the night.
HAN SEUNG WOO Expresses His Gratitude To All His Filipino Fans
As Seung Woo got into position for the photo time with the audience, a special VCR was played on the screen, showing clips of him from his debut up to the present, which was ultimately concluded with a heartfelt message from HAN_As accompanied with photos of them holding paper hearts.
On top of this, as he began his final ment, the crowd started chanting “Han Seung Woo! Han Seung Woo!” to which the singer enthusiastically returned with a chant of the fandom’s name.
After the sweet exchange between fans and artist, Seung Woo once again expressed his gratitude towards everyone and made a promise to Filipino HAN_As that he’d be releasing a new album as soon as possible before closing the show with his last song, “We loved each other”.
As a perfect ending to a magical night, all attendees were given the chance to get up close to Han Seung Woo for the show’s hi-touch event. Surely a great memory for HAN_As to hold on to while waiting for his return to the Philippines!
