CONCERT RECAP: WOODZ Spends A Spectacular Night During His 2023 World Tour OO-LI In Manila
FILO MOODZ expressed their heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to the K-pop all-rounder, WOODZ, in his recent Manila solo concert!
Filipino MOODZ showed their endless love and support for WOODZ during his 1st ever 2023 World Tour OO-LI in Manila. Organized by Pulp Live World, the highly anticipated event was held on June 17, 2023, at the New Frontier Theater.

Fans arrived at the show dressed in a combination of WOODZ’ fandom colors, orange and blue. This was initiated by WOODZ Pilipinas as part of their fan project for the genius singer-songwriter. Before the concert started, several activities were prepared for the fans such as the OO-LI Booth, where they can flash their gorgeous smiles.
WOODZ ‘OO-LI’ CONCERT IN MANILA HIGHLIGHTS
WOODZ devoured and left no crumbs! He effortlessly served live vocals, rap, and applaudable dance moves all at the same time. And it is no doubt that he deserves to be called an “all-rounder” in every sense of the term.
As soon as the lights go dim, a vivid red hue sparked on centerstage. WOODZ appeared in glasses, starting off his set with “Busted.” Filipino fans never disappoint as they once again proved they are the loudest crowd ever. The whole New Frontier Theater was covered with enthusiastic cheers, creating a one-of-a-kind experience for all.

Before properly introducing himself to his fans, WOODZ proceeded to get the crowd pumped up with “Hijack,” from his 4th mini-album Colorful Trauma. “Love Me Harder” was undoubtedly one of his most popular tracks as it showed how much energy Filipino MOODZ gave during WOODZ’ performance. He then acknowledged the passion of the fans and assured them of a great night.
WOODZ sang several songs from his albums, including “Waiting,” “Chaser,” “Who Know,” “Dirt on my Leather,” “Trigger,” “ABYSS,” “Kiss Of Fire,” Thanks to,” and “I Hate You.”
WOODZ Shares A Special Moment with Filo MOODZ
In between performances, WOODZ casually asked the audience how much they loved his songs. It was a wonderful time with him, as he generously granted fan requests. He played rock, paper, scissors with a fan, and even took a selfie with another’s phone. WOODZ also did a special performance of “Pool” and “Accident” in response to a fan’s request.

The “Chaser” singer also expressed his gratitude to his fans’ warm welcome and for patiently waiting for him to visit Manila for a concert. To give back the warm love and support, he sang “Hype Boy” by New Jeans, and “Your Song” by one of the Philippines’ most popular bands, Parokya Ni Edgar.
Three Promises Of WOODZ For Filo MOODZ
Nearing the end of his concert, WOODZ performed “Drowning” and “Journey.” The fans started to raise blue handkerchiefs as part of the “Byahe ni Woodz” fan project by WOODZ Pilipinas and @smilesforwoodz. Happiness was clearly seen on WOODZ’ face, as he glows on stage with his irresistible smile, looking at each and every fan in the standing area and on the second floor.

After the performance, WOODZ encouraged Filipino MOODZ to make three promises with him— Kalusugan (Health), Kasiyahan (Happiness), Mahalin mo ang sarili mo (Love yourself).
Unfortunately, every enjoyable night has to end. A surprise fan-made VCR was played on screen, participated by fans across the Philippines. Each of them represented their cities, giving WOODZ a virtual tour of the beautiful places in the country. The audience started chanting “iiyak na yan,” urging him to cry. But WOODZ said his tears will not be of sadness but of joy.

He thanked his Filipino fans for coming to the show, as well as the efforts of the production team, staff members, bandmates, and dancers. He also promised to return to Manila as soon as possible and asked fans to stay healthy and happy until he comes back.
Hellokpop extends its gratitude to Pulp Live World for the media passes for the WOODZ 1st World Tour “OO-LI” in Manila 2023.
