(G)I-DLE Takes Their Own Planet On The New Global Fandom Platform “UNIVERSE”
The global platform UNIVERSE unveiled its fifth artist! Welcome K-pop’s global hot girl group (G)I-DLE!
Fans who are already awaiting the launch of the new global entertainment platform UNIVERSE can add one more reason for their excitement. The new reveal is a well known and loved girl group, (G)I-DLE.
On November 16, the announcements continued with the latest addition to UNIVERSE. (G)I-DLE is getting ready to reveal various content through the platform and communicate with their global fans.
UNIVERSE is the largest entertainment platform for users to enjoy online and offline fandom activities through mobile devices. Serviced in three languages, Korean, Japanese and English, in 134 countries, it combines the latest IT technology and entertainment content.
Also, the platform offers different functions for fans to enjoy. Those include “Collection” and “Studio”, both drawing more attention from the public. In particular, users will be able to record various fandom activities and can also decorate their favorite artists’ characters, and produce music videos.
The hot trend (G)I-DLE
(G)I-DLE debuted in 2018 with “LATATA” and had since been receiving a lot of love for their unrivaled concepts and performances. In particular, their third mini-album I Trust, released in April, continued the girls’ global trend.
The album topped the iTunes Top Album Chart in 61 regions around the world. It also entered 5 US Billboard charts, proving the group’s global popularity. The idols also recorded great success on music show broadcasts in Korea.
