“A Great Man” – What People Call Super Junior’s Siwon After His Volunteer Trip In Vietnam
Visiting Vietnam this time, Siwon did not bring dynamic music or choreography. Instead, he brought his warm heart for a meaningful purpose.
On August 21, Super Junior’s Choi Siwon visited Vietnam to participate in a charity campaign, which is run by the United Nation’s Children’s Fund (UNICEF).
The K-pop idol’s visit to the Asian country was scheduled three days later, right after his military discharge on August 18.
From August 21 to 25, Siwon visited three places in Vietnam, including the coastal city Da Nang and two districts (Tu Mo Rong and Kon Ray) in Kon Tum province.
Dressed with a black UNICEF T-shirt, Siwon impressed the local people with his charming appearance in person.
During the five-day voluntary trip, Siwon shed his image of a top K-pop star and mingle together with the local people and children.
The language barrier absolutely did not prevent the cheery idol from getting close to the young children in the region. He showed genuine efforts to interact with them through affectionate eyes, friendly smiles and warm hand holdings.
As their hyung (older brother), the Super Junior member did not hesitate to join in a football match with the school boys when he was in Kon Tum.
He dedicated himself in bringing his music to the kids in a local kindergarten and students in a secondary school.
From the photos, they clearly shows that there wasn’t any barrier of age, nationality and language between Siwon and Vietnamese people during the special music classes, except with happy smiles.
Wherever Siwon went, the local residents were seen to welcome him warmly, waving the flags of both countries happily.
Earlier on, mobs of fans also reportedly waited and welcomed Siwon at Da Nang international airport.
The Super Junior member’s dedication and meaningful activities in Vietnam have won generous compliments from local and international fans.
To the local children and fans in Vietnam, Choi Siwon’s memorable interactions and precious photos with them would be forever cherished in their hearts.
