CONCERT RECAP: IVE Displays Outstanding Visuals In The Prom Queens Fan Concert In Manila
It was a dream come true for PH DIVEs as they finally meet the six heroines of IVE for the first fan concert in Manila!
Echoes of enthusiastic cheers and waves of lightsticks from Filipino DIVEs awaiting the appearance of IVE filled the Smart Araneta Coliseum on June 17, 2023.
Organized by DNM Entertainment, the six gorgeous members came to debut on the Manila stage for The Prom Queens: IVE The First Fan Concert.

The fans went absolutely wild as IVE appeared dressed in uniforms, ascending the stage to begin the show with “After Like.” Maintaining the hype at its highest, Yujin, Gaeul, Wonyoung, Liz, Rei, and Leeseo proceeded with performing “Take It,” “My Satisfaction,” and “Royal.”
After the back-to-back performances, the members were grouped by twos to play several games. Yujin and Gaeul were Team Manila, Wonyoung and Leeseo were Team Halo-Halo, and Rei and Liz were Team Couple. Hosted by Sam Oh, the girls participated in several fan activities. One of the games was to answer trivia questions about IVE.

In another part of the show, the members were given a quiz involving songs by other K-pop artists. They have to identify the songs based on the dance silhouettes to gain a point.
Whenever a team answered correctly, they get to do a short dance cover of the songs, such as “Into the New World” by Girls’ Generation, “Flower” by BLACKPINK Jisoo, “Rover” by EXO’s Kai, “KNOCK” by Lee Chae Yeon, “Spicy” by aespa, and “Fighting” by Seventeen BSS.

Concluding the game segment, Wonyoung and Leeseo scored the most points and were crowned the “Prom Queens.” The 4th generation girl group then gave their Filipino fans a spectacular performance of “Kitsch.”
After showcasing their unrivaled charisma, Wonyoung and Rei showed up to demonstrate their charms with a dance cover of “Me Too” by Meghan Trainor.

The group’s vocalists, Liz and Yujin, treated fans to a song cover of “Flashlight” by Jessie J, while Gaeul and Leeseo delivered a stirring performance of “Kill This Love” by BLACKPINK.
IVE Creates A Special Memory With Filo DIVEs
Nearing the end of the night, Filo DIVEs presented the girls with something special to remember them. A VCR was played on screen, featuring IVE’s rise to fame. The video also showed Filipino fans’ TikTok covers of “After Like,” concluding with the fans’ heartfelt messages for the girls.
After the video was played, a swerve of emotions surrounded the members. In particular, Leeseo immediately started crying the moment the lights were turned back on. The youngest then received hugs and pats from her fellow members; Yujin and Rei were also unable to keep their tears from flowing.

“It’s been so long since we’ve performed in front of DIVEs, so I was very nervous. But seeing how lots of DIVEs came tonight, gave me so much joy,” Rei said.
Unfortunately, the night needs to come to an end. IVE closed the show with explosive performances of their biggest hits, “ELEVEN,” “I AM,” and “Love Dive.”
During the encore for the remix versions of “Love Dive” and “After Like,” the girls wandered the stage to bid their final goodbyes to their fans. Officially concluding the prom night, IVE gave off their coolest stage for “Not Your Girl.”
