Finally, the soloist uploaded the Highlight Medley for his album SET. He unveiled that each of his songs will present a different feeling as the single album unfolds a story of various emotions.
SET First Impressions
The title track “FEEL LIKE” puts a start to the story which the artist wants to tell through this album. The music number harmonizes various sounds which take the listeners on an exciting journey.
The song tells of the feelings between two people and the “push and pull” that happens between them. The pre-chorus hits with its addictive sound in combination with the singer’s seductive vocals and leads to the guitar riffs that present a whole new feel to the song.
In addition to all of this, the artist’s swift jumps from singing to rap and back make the music number quite unique and compelling.
The second track on the list is “Touché”, and it features artist MOON, who completes the piece by singing the girl’s side of the story. On the other hand, WOODZ takes on the challenge to portray the sad but calm image of a man, who recognized the change in the other person’s heart.
The passionate Latin R&B number in combination with the calm vocals will immerse listeners even more into this captivating story.
“Rebound” finishes the story with the realization of the other person’s actual feelings. Their relationship was nothing but a rebound to them and so it did not last.
The composition of the track changes along with the emotions. It is an impressive song with a variety of sounds and sources that are both detailed and diverse.
“FEEL LIKE” MV Afterthoughts
What better way to express oneself than through music? This is the impression left after watching the music video for “FEEL LIKE”. Especially with its surprise ending that made perfect sense of the video trailer that was released earlier.
At the beginning, we saw WOODZ enter a music pub called “Sinto como” which translates to “I feel like”, further hinting at it being the right place where he, as an artist, can express himself.
The singer then showed his eye-catching moves that melt fully with the music. So instead of witnessing the story between a man and a woman, he portrayed how their feelings would look like as dance moves.
WOODZ captivated with his expressive features, stunning choreography and some cool added effects. One of those being the scene where he seemingly dances on top of a guitar as electric charges run over the chords.
Just like the song itself, the music video is captivating in its own way. It presents a more free side of the soloist, as well as his unique view on music.
