Bon Appétit, Your Majesty star Lee Chaemin captivated Filipino fans as he held his first fan meeting in the Philippines on November 23, 2025.

The event, part of his 2025 LEE CHAE MIN FANMEETING TOUR “Chaem-into You,” took place at the New Frontier Theater and was presented by PULP Live World, VARO Entertainment, Pinnalive, and Merry Go Round.

Lee, known for his roles in High Class, Love All Play, Alchemy of Souls, Crash Course in Romance, See You in My 19th Life, Hierarchy, and Crushology 101, has quickly risen as one of South Korea’s most promising young actors. However, his portrayal of the king in Bon Appétit, Your Majesty solidified his place among viewers’ favorites.

The night opened with Lee appearing on stage in an all-white outfit, performing a piano rendition of “Stay With Me” from his hit drama. Greeting the crowd with a wide smile, he thanked Filipino fans for their warmth, saying, “With your cheers, there’s nothing I can’t do.”

It may have been his first visit to Manila, but the explosive cheers and heartfelt welcome from Filipino fans instantly made him feel at home. He shared that he was already buzzing with excitement long before boarding the plane—but the love he received upon landing completely exceeded anything he had imagined.

Sharing More of “TMI Chaemin”

In a segment hosted by Kring Kim, fans learned more about the actor. Born on September 15, 2000, the 25-year-old actor shared fun personal details—from his AB blood type and ISFP MBTI to his exact height of 190.2 cm. His hobbies include playing the piano, basketball, and swimming, and he owns two dogs, his favorite animal.

Known for his minimalist wardrobe, he explained that he gravitates toward white, black, and blue clothing. He also spoke about his daily routine and fitness habits, revealing that he works out consistently. “Honestly, I never not have abs,” he joked.

Lee also expressed his love for ballads and admitted that he often listened to Bon Appétit, Your Majesty’s OST while preparing for the role. Adjusting to the Manila heat, he called Filipinos “the people with the best smiles.”

Fans cheered loudly when he playfully acted as a professor wearing glasses—one of the night’s most talked-about moments.

Putting His Hosting Skills to Use

Lee, who previously hosted KBS’s Music Bank alongside LE SSERAFIM’s Eunchae, introduced a special segment called “Chaemin Bank,” where he charmed the crowd with Tagalog phrases such as “Ako po si Minnie Minnie Chaemin, Bank Manager” and “Nagkaon ka na lab?”

He danced to fan-requested challenges, showed aegyo, and gamely fulfilled requests, saying, “I wanted to do everything you wanted me to do today.”

Fan Interactions and Unscripted Highlights

A vlog clip showed Lee visiting a Tonkatsu Hotpot restaurant with his team. As the video ended, he surprised everyone by suddenly appearing among the audience in a denim outfit, serenading fans up close. One fan even handed him a mini electric fan to help with the heat.

Games continued with the “CHAEMISSION Challenge,” where fans guessed prompts through Lee’s facial expressions and body movements. During a 60-second challenge, he chose a fan dressed in denim—matching his outfit—to play charades with him.

The “Tell Me Your Wish” segment delivered some of the most heartwarming interactions. Lee granted fan requests, from selcas and birthday songs to choosing between a front or back hug. He also reenacted a romantic scene from the Filipino film Starting Over Again, sending the theater into a frenzy.

A Message Fans Won’t Forget

As the evening neared its end, fans surprised Lee with a video filled with messages and greetings. Deeply moved, he expressed his gratitude:
“You are my motivation and strength. I’ll try my best not to disappoint you and show you a better version of myself. I really love you.”

He closed the fan meeting with a heartfelt performance of “I Find You,” an OST from Bon Appétit, Your Majesty.

“The time I spent with my Manila CHAEMF is one of the best days of my life,” he shared. “Next time we meet, I hope you’ll still be here. Promise? Salamat po!”
