Monbebes Shower MONSTA X’s Kihyun Back With Love And Support For WE ARE HERE Concert In Los Angeles Amidst Injury

If these messages from Monbebes showing their love and appreciation for MONSTA X’s Kihyun doesn’t move you, then maybe his sweet words and confession during their concert will.

Shortly after Starship Entertainment announced that MONSTA X’s Kihyun will not be able to fully participate in the group’s concert in Los Angeles, Monbebes showered the vocalist with sweet messages overflowing with love and appreciation!

A fractured rib proved to be unable to stop the one and only Yoo Kihyun from staying by Monbebes’ sides.

With the huge anticipation for their massive Los Angeles show this August 10, the injured MONSTA X member made sure to still give his all – not just out of true professionalism but also pure love for everyone who had been supporting them and as a fulfillment of his dream.

Many hearts were touched after his agency revealed that he insisted on getting up on stage for their fans – even if it meant he would only be allowed to sit for his performances.

Kihyun also posted a message on fan cafe where he assured everyone of his decision. “Since my debut, I haven’t missed a single show and I was just going to continue with tonight’s show as well but because if I’m not careful, I might not be able to see my Monbebe for longer, I have to perform sitting down tonight,” he wrote.

Along with another apology, he promised to “recover as quickly as possible and come back stronger and better than ever”.

The hashtag #GetWellSoonKihyun and Kihyun himself trended on Twitter worldwide as fans continued to shower him with heartwarming messages.

During the Concert

True enough, the vocalist showed up with brimming energy on stage despite his injury and gave everyone the best he could.

Just like the outpouring love and support for him on social media, Monbebes filled Staples Center with loud cheers for the MONSTA X member. Many chanted his name as loud as they could to express their love for him.

Breaking his promise of staying seated, Kihyun wasn’t able to keep still and stood up for some of the performances.

He even danced for almost the full stage of “Oh My!” – with the excuse of the choreography not being as demanding of movements compared to MONSTA X’s other songs.

During his ment in the show, Kihyun shared his thoughts to the crowd – who were all both very worried and proud at the same time.

Addressing his injuries, the vocalist said, “First of all, I’m really sorry because I feel like you were all really shocked. I am sorry to the fans and the members who waited for a year just for this concert.”

“I took a very strong painkiller before the show, and I’m sure if my condition will get better or worse after this,” he revealed.

“I know you guys will nag at me for this, and even the company staff will also nag because they told me not to get up and dance. However, if I just stayed in the hotel and did not perform, I know I will regret it until the day I die. This had been my dream stage since 2015,” the singer confessed, throwing everyone back to their first overseas show ever through KCON in the same venue.

“Thank you for giving me memories that I will never forget today. I hope to come here and perform again next time with my sexy and cool image that will make your noses bleed like I promised,” he said, making the situation light with his straight-from-the-heart message.

“Really, thank you so much for today and I know no words can properly express this but I really love you and thank you all,” Kihyun concluded.
