CONCERT RECAP: Park Bom Exceeds Elegance During Her 1st Fan Concert In Manila
FILO BOMSHELLs experienced the most beautiful spring with the vocal powerhouse, PARK BOM!
June 10, 2023 will go down in history as the very night that Filipino BOMSHELLs and Blackjacks came together to see PARK BOM during her YOU & I 1st Fan Concert in Manila. Organized by Neuwave Events & Productions, the memorable event happened at the New Frontier Theater.
FILO BOMSHELLs managed to warmly welcome their beloved singer despite the inclement weather. And PARK BOM did not back down as well as she opened the show with 2NE1’s “FIRE,” receiving roaring applause from the audience.
PARK BOM You & I Fan Concert in Manila Highlights
It was an excellent start to the evening. Lightsticks were raised up high, as fans constantly cheered for the 2NE1 main vocalist. PARK BOM then continued to demonstrate her vocal prowess by performing “Spring” and “4:44.”
She also sang some of her classic solo tracks such as “Don’t Cry,” “My Lover,” and “DOREMI.” Filipino fans witnessed another rare event as PARK BOM took center stage to perform “Shameful.” The songstress looked as adorable as ever as she nailed the choreography with the backup dancers.
It should come as no surprise that PARK BOM is consistently recognized as a vocal powerhouse. Particularly, she showed off her unique tone with a performance of “One Of These Days.”
Then, it’s as if it was a battle of voices as Filipino fans sang along to “YOU & I.” Some fans even began to cry when she ended the set with “Lonely.”
PARK BOM Spends Heartfelt Moment With Fans
In between performances, PARK BOM sits on her elegant throne to take a moment and be closer with her beloved BOMSHELLs. During a short interview with the host, she was asked about her meaningful accomplishments throughout her career. “I think my most meaningful accomplishment was my ‘Spring’ album,” the singer responded.
When asked about her music inspiration, everyone in the audience cheered upon hearing her answer. “Mariah Carey and my member, Sandara Park.”
PARK BOM also shared that her favorite Filipino food is anything from Jollibee. It was not a surprise, as Sandara Park has already introduced the food chain to all her 2NE1 members even before they visited the Philippines.
The stunning vocalist then revealed a TMI about herself. She shared that the song she was listening to these days was Ariana Grande and The Weeknd’s “Die For You.”
Trying to get a spicy TMI from her, the host asked who she last talked to on the phone before going on stage. Being the lovely and adorable person PARK BOM is, she answered that she last called her mom.
There was also a game segment wherein lucky fans had the chance to step onstage with their brightest star. Before ending the show, a surprise VCR was played on screen, leaving PARK BOM in tears as she expressed her gratitude to her Filipino fans. She also promised to return to Manila, with her 2NE1 members, if possible.
